Direct2Drive has Defense Grid for $9.95 this week.
As I mentioned in the other thread, I found this at Cheapassgamer: Too Human is $18 for a new copy at Amazon.
Too Human is on the clearance rack at Target. YMMV of course, but it’s $9.98 there. I’ve had it in my hand at least ten times and passed.

If it was shorter and played itself ala dungeon siege I MIGHT pay a dollar for it.
Please snag it. I need some folks to play co-op with!

I would pick it up for 10 bucks, I will have to take a look.

I’d say it’s worth the 10 bucks, I’d love some co-op in it too. The later levels definitely aren’t as fun as the early ones to me, but I think that might have been my own frustration and lack of skill that seems to have gone away as much as design.
It’s not best game ever or anything, but I’ve enjoyed it much more than I expected to from popular opinion.
I only find the Ice Cave level to be really annoying. The tomb, Jörmungandr, and Hel were fine by me. The Ice level seemed to have too many resistant (polarized) enemy chokepoints. I hated getting hit with the burning or poison effect too. sigh It’s a shame it was supposed to be a trilogy… I don’t think I’ll get to see the rest of the story at this point (see also Shenmue).
Not really a bargain that anyone else can claim, but I stopped by Goodwill to check out the CDs this afternoon (you can occasionally find some real bargains there, and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than iTunes…), and found a few gems. First, a sealed copy of Roger Zelazny’s Chronomaster for $10. Then, a copy of Total Annihilation for $2 (alas, jewel case and CDs only).
Finally, I found a SMAC jewel case, but when I opened it to check the disc, there was no SMAC to be found! Rather, there was an Ultima Underworld I/II CD! And for only $2…
Now comes the fun part: Getting them to work.

The Little Big Planet price frankly flabbergasts me. I cannot recall such a widely hyped title being sold for that much of a markdown this quickly. Either GoGamer’s gone insane, or it’s not actually very popular. Either way.
(of course, I dunno that -I- want it, and I do have a PS3.)

Unfortunately, GoGamer is selling the European version. That means while it will run in any PS3, you have to use European DLC. North American DLC will not work.
It may be worth waiting for the US version to drop.

Does anyone know if there is any chance that Little Big Planet will be ported to the XBox 360?
Cubit

i highly, highly doubt it.
Since it’s published by Sony, that would be quite a feat.
There has been talk of a pc version but again, I wouldn’t count on it but its more likely than a 360 version.

Maybe I just don’t have enough letters after my name, but I don’t get it. Wouldn’t it make them additional money to sell their big titles on other consoles after some exclusivity period the same way third-party devs sometimes agree to?
Oh wait, now I get what Telefrog meant. It’s Sony, and their business decisions are completely asstastic! Gotcha. ;)
Has any console manufacturer ever ported a 1st party title to a competing platform? I’m thinking any money they’d make doing so wouldn’t outweigh the value of having an exclusive to their own platform in that having it exclusive encourages people to buy their hardware.
