FWIW, I thought BiA:HH was better overall than BiA:EiB (the second one), which I never finished - got frustrated with a mission where a tank kept pwning my squads before I could flank it.

I finished the 360 version of BiA:HH and have the PC version next to my PC, but haven’t cracked it open yet.

PoP PC is cheaper at retail for Canadians at $30 without any DRM.

Brothers in Arms is $10 USD free shipping from Newegg making today’s Steam sale a stinker: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832138014

PoP PC will never ever get the epilogue DLC due to piracy etc. so go watch it on Youtube.

Watch it on Youtube?!? The story is the weakest part of the DLC. They go out of their way to not advance the story at all from the end of the main game. So there’s no need to watch it for the story. The whole point of the DLC is to have a much more challenging section to play through. The jumps have to be better timed, and there’s long sections without any platforms, and some of the jumps are very tricky. That’s the whole point. Watching it on Youtube would be completely worthless in this case.

Amazon’s VGDOTD is Crackdown for $10. If you don’t already have this game, I’m not sure I like you very much.

Bob, would you like to buy me a 360 so that we can be friends?

But I don’t have a 360. :(

Direct2Drive is having an RPG sale.

You mean those aren’t regular prices at this point?

I was thinking much the same. If they could get Sacred 2 down to $25 or $30 I might bite.

Maybe at retail. But for digital download those are fairly good.

It feels good that this deal sold out so fast. Hopefully a lot more people will be able to enjoy this wonderful game in the coming weeks.

It’s still showing up as in stock for me. If it IS out of stock, hopefully that happened after I placed my order.

Hmmm, when I checked for Crackdown, it is indeed in stock. But the Dotd page says “Today’s Deal of the Day is sold out”. Strange.

I have two copies! Now I am your bestest friend.

I get it now. On the main listing for Crackdown, it’s listed as in stock and sold by someone called “NYC Electronics,” with shipping fulfilled by Amazon.

Doesn’t matter as long as they ship it. Either way, I got Crackdown for $10.

Today’s Steam deal is Far Cry 2 for $14.99.

Thats a steal if you don’t have it already.

Also, with the recent release of the Fortunes Pack DLC on Steam, you can get it all for a nice round $20.

Is it? I know the critic reviews have been positive, but the user reviews seem to point at the game being very repetitive with long rides to points A and B. I’d love to be convinced that its a good game at that price…

Thats a question best answered in the Far Cry 2 thread. Your opening a whole can o’ worms there.

Farcry 2 for 15 bucks? Sold!

God DAMNIT. Right after it goes on sale @ Newegg for $20, this happens. Oh well, I’d rather have it tied to my Steam account anyway - does anyone want a boxed copy for cheap? Heh.
