Poor Larry.

GIVING ‘PICK UP and PLAY’ A WHOLE NEW MEANING

More amusingly, they then go on to list a set of traditional meanings …

I was looking up scores out of morbid curiosity, when I came upon this:

unlike Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, this game will not contain nudity and sexual content.

What the fuck is even the point anymore? I don’t get it.

I’m really torn in whether to buy or not.
On the one hand it’s only the name and nothing else anymore
but on the other hand I have a complete Sierra adventures games collection at home including Larry 1-7 (without 4 ;) ) and Magna Cum Laude (incl. the AO version).
So should I buy to keep my collection complete or should I skip since it’s not really part of the collection?

Hard decision…

Just about every review has said “this is the first LSL game not to have nudity” except only 3 of the past 7 games had any nudity at all.

Only three? That can’t be right.

They still all had sexual content, in one way or another. Though I can’t be sure of the breadth of that definition.

Mirror’s Edge 360 hit the red tag clearance rack at Target. $29.98 at the one near me.

Also, Target has Wii games Buy Two Get One Free until the end of the day Saturday. All games included. Free game must be of equal or lesser value.

Those of you waiting to get House of the Dead: Overkill could buy that, MadWorld and something like Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Pro Evo Soccer 2009 (soccer RTS!), or Rune Factory: Frontier (if they have it). If you don’t have Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii or any of the other best selling titles, grab one of those. Either way, it’s a good deal.

Saw that yesterday. I couldn’t find 2 wii games I wanted to buy. :\

You’d have to find three, really.

Every time I do something like that, I end up playing the one I really wanted and putting the other two on the shelf to be ignored.

All gone from the Dallas stores, unfortunately.

Madworld
House of the Dead: Overkill
Deadly Creatures

would be my pick.

SoulCalibur IV for the 360 is currently $19.99 on Buy.com with free shipping (make sure you choose budget shipping while placing your order, since it defaults to the one for $4+).

Ok, there probably are 3 or more Wii games I would like o buy but I’m limited to the stock at the Target at the time.

Amazon’s Deal of the Day is Puzzle Quest Galactrix (PC) for $9.98.

Saw that one during my daily bargain checks, but I’m hoping for a similar sale price on Steam. But if I buy it on XBLA (whenever it’s released!), it would have to be cheap on Steam for me to pick it up on that platform, as well.

I’m holding out for the XBLA release.

Also courtesy of Mysterio about five posts up. :-p

I blame Rob Merritt for quoting intruder. When someone posts, and then someone else quotes that post, and there’s a post in the middle, I always tend to gloss over the post in the middle. It’s as if my brain doesn’t think it’s worth processing.

You guys are in luck Galatrix is coming out on XBLA next week. 1600 points
