Seconded. If you’re into adventure games, I think this one is well worth trying out at that price.
This is a great thing about Qt3. I would never have thought to give that game a try, but recommendations from two tapirs is enough for me to go ahead and order it.

Is The Experiment the game where you see everything through various video cameras and have limited communication with the main character? If so, then I played the demo and thought it was pretty interesting.
I thought about this, but then I thought about the PC version of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords never (as far as I know) getting the expansion content that the game got on XBLA, and passed. No guarantee there will be anything like that this time around, but why risk it?
Personally the modability of the PC more than makes up for an expansion. Maybe if I played it more than just casually like I do Fallout 3 but that’s not going to happen.
GOG.com is offering Broken Sword 2 & 3 together for $9.98. I don’t know anything about these games. Worth it?

Looks like Steams weekend deal is gonna be Tomb Raider:Anniversary for $5.
Damn, and I haven’t even finished FC2 yet. skulks off to find his credit card
Hrmm. I’d like to have Tomb Raider Anniversary, but not on my PC.

Does anyone know if it supports a 360 controller?
For $5? Get it, get yourself an XBox pad, and enjoy all the great bargain crossovers that steam brings from the consoles!
Gamersgate has the PC version of Frontlines: Fuel of War for $15, half off the usual price. I liked what I played of it on the 360, though the single-player campaign is fairly short and really could have used online co-op.
They also have Fantasy Wars for $8. Don’t know anything about it myself, but there was a thread about it back here.
Edit: And I already have Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the 360, but $5 seems worth it for an ‘archival’ PC copy. Damn you, Steam!
I have an Xbox pad and even the wireless controller dongle thing, but there’s more to it that that. My 360 is hooked up to a 42" TV with surround sound and a nice couch in front of it. My PC has a 19" 4:3 monitor, 2.1 sound, and has an office chair in front of it.
It does. I played it on Gametap using my 360 pad.
I haven’t tried the Steam version, but I know the ‘regular’ release did. Can’t see why this one would be different.

Yes, if you like classic adventure games (inventory-based puzzles and all the other genre standards). 3 is a better game than 2, but that’s a great price for both. I’ll be picking them up.
(And since I’m here, I’ll add yet another vote of support to The Experiment. Fun, inventive interpretation of the adventure game style.)
Checks whether it’s still April 1st. Laughs
1 and 2 mop the floor with part 3 also called “Broken Sword: Sokoban”!
Part 3 is only topped by the horrible part 4 (Angel of Death).
Still a good deal.
GoGamer has LOTRO Mines of Moria regular for $20 and Collector’s Edition for $30. Unfortunately, shipping on the latter starts at $7 (GG usually charges extra for heavy or oversized items), but still a lot cheaper than list price.

The Experiment always looked like a J-Hentai game.
If your PC has the horsepower and is close enough, run a DVI/HDMI cable from your video card to your TV and play from your couch (the receiver is wireless and isn’t IR so line of sight shouldn’t matter too much on the 360 pad).
If they’re half a house away, well, buy a PC to go in the living room and hook up to your TV! :)
