Don’t forget all the cool stuff on the PlayStation Store.
Yeah, this.
I am just going to have to wait for Dell to have a spectacular deal on PS3s again or something. I just can’t make myself shell out $400 for that system right now, and craigslist is kind of barren for decent deals on one at the moment, as well.
Weekend Steam deal: Peggle Complete for $10. Don’t injure yourselves in your haste to order!

Exactly my thoughts!
Some time for my cc to cool off. ;)
Because like everyone else you already have both Peggles, right?

This is a very, very wrong opinion.
Bargain Thread.
Take your Peggle fight somewhere else. I know it’s gonna get ugly.

Well based on how much Mr. Jeff Green used to rave about it on the old gfw podcast, I always wanted to play it but decided to wait on the Steam sale. And now that I have… bought it!
The downside to the Steam sales is that it just doesn’t make sense to buy these older games knowing that in time they will be disounted (this is with the understanding that who can wait for a NEW release to go on sale. I bought my DoW 2 at full price).

mouse + keyboard = 50% less deaths
I was just kidding. I didn’t realize there were holy wars over a little casual game.

i bought the first one and liked it and bought it for my cell phone, but i wasn’t enamored enough with the concept to buy the new one.

PC devs are often retarded at implementing controllers though.
Assuming you’re talking about ports of Xbox 360 games, the code is virtually the same as both platforms use the XInput API to support the 360 controllers. It is very unlikely a PC version of a game that has a 360 version would have controller code that is any worse than the 360 version. I guess it could happen if you had two completely different teams working on each version without any shared code base, but nobody does that anymore, certainly not for 360/PC versions at least.
Well, I guess I’ll have to seek that one out, then. Dead Man’s Hand and Call of Juarez left me cold. It’s good to hear there’s actually a good one out there.
And darn you, Steam, offering both Peggles for $10! I just got done giving Popcap $5 a couple weeks ago for the first game alone!
Its on the Original Xbox, so thats always something to look out for, since we’ve come leaps and bounds from even that really awesome machine. However, I wouldn’t say its one of the greatest games, but its a solid westerner.
Yeah, it’s backwards compatible on the 360, which is why it’s next on my Netflix queue (has been for a while, since the sequel was announced).
Galaga Legions, an XBLA title, is currently priced at $4.97 on Amazon. Regular price is $10.
