I just got my free magic decks today, red and black. However, each deck is 30 cards. Did they lower the minimum from 40 to 30 or is this just because they are promotional? I was expecting them to be from some old set from which they had a ton of extra boxes of premade decks left.

The minimum deck size is actually 60 for constructed decks. 40 for draft. I suspect it’s just 30 for “demo” purposes.

New GoGamer sale: lots of older stuff, but the only standouts in my mind are Brothers in Arms:HH (X360) for $15 and Age of Conan CE for $10 (unfortunately, shipping starts at $9).

Oh, and his 360 is still broken. He has no money and I refuse to fix it because his grades sucked this semester. Now his WoW account is expired (on patch day no less!) and I refused to resub him for the same reason. He’s one seriously bored dude at the moment.

For PC games, no. Imports are only different packaging and sometimes have slightly different content.

Whoa… import 360 games? You gotta watch out there. They are usually region coded and will not work in the US. They may have tested this one and found it does work, though. It’s actually up to the publisher on the 360, I think.

As an FYI for future purchases and those who may not know of it, the Play-Asia Xbox 360 Regional Compatibility Guide is a useful resource if you’re considering buying a version that’s not a match to your 360’s region.

I’m not an attorney, I’m the IT Manager for a law firm. That actually makes it worse though, as being a gaming tech geek I know exactly how painful it is to have no access to your MMO or your console games. My parental cruelty knows no bounds. ;)

I did the exact same thing with my kid although he doesn’t play wow. His grades sucked last year and he was not on any console I owned or played his DS in my house. This year his grades are much much better thank god.

I got them like, last week, totally forgot about them. Sitting at home, so I haven’t seen them yet.
