5 bucks for Space Siege? I’ll check it out at that price.
I do wish it was on steam though I’d much rather keep all of my digital downloads on as few services as possible.
To celebrate its second anniversary, LOTRO is offering a week of free play to old unsubscribed customers and $10-a-month subscriptions (in 3-month increments, so “buy 2 get 1 free” essentially) to current & new players. They’re also offering the DD edition of MoM for $10.
Just to expand on this a bit, if you sign up at that rate ($29.99 for 3 months) it stays that way until you cancel. I took advantage of this deal about 18 months ago when they offered it around the holidays in 2007, and my recurring subscription rate has been $29.99 every three months ever since. $10 a month for a major MMO is hard to beat!

I just realised i have an extra copy of HL2 and episode one on steam. None of my friends or collegues want it, so the first people to ask, get it. I just need your emails. Also have some Passes for “The Ship” on Steam too.
Thanks for the heads up. I just changed my plan. It looks like this laidback Monday Night LOTRO thing will go on for a long time (hopefully), so I’ll be glad to be paying less.
Isn’t it a digital download?
He’s referring to the free copies and passes he was giving away.
The Steam weekend deal is the Orange Box for $10. Can’t really beat that deal even if you’re only interested in one of the games.

No more excuses people. Buy it now.
I don’t think such a person exists. Certainly not on this forum, I’d suspect.
I own it on 360 and I still feel like I should buy it. Weird.

So much better on the PC.
I’ve never owned it.
No computer that can handle it :(
Man, I’m kinda bummer over that Lord of the Rings Online anniversary deal. After my US trial period expired I decided to buy the game, but Turbine wouldn’t take my credit card. So I had to trawl through eBay to find a copy of the US edition of Mines of Moria that someone was willing to ship overseas - and finally found one but ended up paying $46 total with shipping. To top it all off, the seller also refused to send me the registration codes in advance.
Finally, after several weeks the package arrived today. And now I see this $10 deal that I could potentially take advantage of and resell the boxed copy I just received - that is, if Turbine would just accept my credit card.
Ugh.
You could still buy it, it’s fantastic value for money - even if it doesn’t run very well you won’t have wasted much just to try.
EDIT: Okay, wow. I just tried signing up for a subscription and a digital copy on Turbine’s account site again - and it worked! I swear they flat out refused my card last time. I’m happy again!

I bought Half-life 2 for 40 E on it’s release date. Paid 20 E for Team Fortress 2 on Steam and bought Portal for 800 MS on xbox live.
And here I am, buying it all again for E10
Totally worth it.
