So, what’s up with the newest offerings from GoGamer? A “Madness” where only two Warcraft deals are offered?
I tried refreshing my page just to make sure it wasn’t me.
Is it wrong that my first thought after “If I were to win the lottery…” is always “…I’d finally be able to play through my backlog!”?
I’ve done the same thing Steve, passed on an interesting game at a decent price for the sole reason that I knew I would not have enough time to give the game it’s due.
Well, those are the best selling PC games, even after all this time. And there are still a lot of people out there who don’t own them yet. (Like myself). $30 each for WotLK and the WoW Battle Chest doesn’t strike me as much of a deal though.
It it’s wrong, then we’re both wrong.
Yeah, same: at this point in my life, longevity in plot-driven single-player games is NOT a selling point. If anything, it’s a disincentive, because I know I’ll most likely get bored or distracted before I make it to the end, but I also dislike leaving stories unresolved. Heck, nine years after buying it, I STILL haven’t found time to sit down with Baldur’s Gate 2, largely because I’ve yet to finish BG1 first!
I guess you’re both wrong then, because if you ever win the lottery, the first thing you’re going to do is to buy a shitload of games to create the ultimate backlog of doom.
:)
Amen, I’m right there with you. If it was cheaper, I’d be tempted to just get it to have in my collection even knowing I’d never have enough free time to play it. In fact, here’s an effective technique I used to keep myself away from Persona 4 forever: I promised myself I’d look into Persona 4 if I ever finished Persona 3.
I don’t think there’s a game coming out in the next century that Steve hasn’t already pre-ordered.
He hasn’t pre-ordered Master of Magical Orion yet! hahahahahaha. So there is one.
In cases such as these, Steve’s Ministers of Finance maintain a reserve account allocated to hypothetical future acquisitions.
Steam weekend deal: CoD:WaW for $25.
EDIT: FUGI-TIIIIIIVE!

I originally thought to post this to prove that I don’t have that many games preordered, but then I realized I have eight games coming before August. Damn tapir.
Edit: Whoops! Accidentally left Ghostbusters off the list.
What? You’re pre-ordering games for the Wii too? Zen is right. You deserve to be mercilessly teased about this forever.
How’s the addition on the house coming?
You guys aren’t getting Punch-Out!!? I don’t think Boom Blox 2 and Wii Sports Resort are controversial preorders either. Those should both be great.
Boom Blox next week! Whoo!
Borderlands isn’t really two months away, is it?
I just said to my room-mate that I need to pick up WaW… what perfect timing!
