How is that screwage? They never promised anything but $5 off a game every three months, not the ability to get a game free every year or two. And even that much is strictly a bonus for continuing to subscribe - it’s not like their core services require that very occasional coupon to be cost-effective for the end-user.

If you don’t think awarding digital coupons and then having them arbitrarily expire is shitty, then I can’t convince you otherwise. If I’m “earning” the coupons, why do they EVER expire? It’s horseshit.

They don’t expire. They get replaced with the same thing, I believe. They just don’t give you another one if you already have one, essentially. I ended up a victim of timing on this sale, actually. I had just bough Fable 2 less than a week before I would have gotten another 10 off! Ack!

Re: the GoGamer sale on Silent Hunter 4, should I get that or rather get the gold package with the expansion pack? Steam has a bundle that includes both + Silent Hunter III for 29.99, but I don’t know how mod-friendly those versions are.

Also, did SH4 ship with Starforce?-- I know SH3 did.

Guitar Hero World Tour Band Bundle for Xbox 360: Big Lots has it in their ad this week for $139.00. It includes the drums, guitar, game and microphone.

Still selling elsewhere for $189.99. I guess a big box retailer bought too many and unloaded them.

FWIW, I picked this up for $100 from Wal-Mart last month and it’s barely worth that much. Not a good game; I’d only recommend it if you’re really in love with the tracklist (and let’s please not start up a discussion re: the merits of that tracklist here).
