The current Amazon Gold Box Deal isn’t HAWX as was expected, but Ace Combat 6 for $19.98. Again, not much of a deal at all considering that one can walk into any Best Buy and get it for $29.99.

$10 bucks off isn’t bad. Just wish they made it for the PS3. HAWX is just not the flight sim I’ve been looking for.

I suppose any money off is good, but Ace Combat 6 is pretty old. I mean, it’s a Platinum Hit for God’s sake. I guess I just expect better deals from the Gold Box, that’s all.

I stop by Big Lots once in awhile to see what games they are selling. Today they had:

Space Siege - $6.00
LOTRO - $6.00
Settlers: Rise of an Empire - $6.00
Prey - $6.00

I think they are pretty consistant with their stock across the country. Might want to check out your local one if you are interested in any of those games.

Nice! You’re not alone. Over 50% of the allotment have been claimed. Only 18% of the WaW allotment was purchased. That might say more about how many WaW copies were available as compared to AC6, but it’s certainly selling faster and more than I would’ve expected.

It’s not going to be that low. It’s a much more recent game. Plus the collector’s edition also includes codes for the Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3, worth $10 by itself.
