Other folks have mentioned it, but if you use a credit card for a gamersgate purchase, it will be charged as a cash advance. Cash advances usually carry a $10 service charge + immediate interest. Caveat Emptor!

This is pretty much the best and only way to buy through Gamersgate. I bought Stalker Clear Sky last week and have had no problem with extra fees, and downloading the game went pretty smoothly. It only hitched up a few times and paused, but would imagine that is due to all the other deals they were running and likely just overloaded at the time.
