You are Empty got the worst stinking review, and it has Starforce. Stay away!
Not a game, but looks like the iPhone Lonely Planet guide to San Francisco is being given away for free right now in the iTunes app store (originally a $16 value or so). Don’t know if I’ll ever be there anytime soon, but it seems like a useful app to have in your purchase history for future use.

Can anyone comment on the scifi ship-based games they have? Like AIM, Star Wolves, and The Tomorrow War? Anything worthwhile? Also, I realize the UFO series isn’t up to the X-Com standard, but are they worth playing anyway?

My local Target’s clearance rack didn’t have too many deals: Left 4 Dead for $34.95, Wheelman for $41.95, and Unreal Tournament 3 for $19.95. Meh.
Sears, however, had some pretty good selections: Jeanne d’Arc for $9.95, Lost Odyssey for $14.95, and Ninja Gaiden II for $14.95. I didn’t hear good things about it, but Soulcalibur Legends was $14.95 as well.
I already implied above that you’ll have to make this call yourself. I plan to play the latest for my backlog, but I’m not exactly chomping at the bit over it. I’m sure it will be competent.
I think one or two of the older games in the series may have some nice mods that didn’t carry over to the latest game. I don’t know which one is the best if you factor that in, though.

I posted this deal here yesterday, but I didn’t see the CAG code until after I bought it. I did get the free shipping though and was able to use some gamestop giftcards online too.
Gamestop sold out of the Rock Band 2 thingie, but I bought Rock Band 1 for $70 on a similar deal, since I don’t have either of them. The CAG code didn’t work for me, but still, great deal.
Thanks, Bargain Thread!
I decided to pass, I have plenty of friends with the game, I can just play with them.
Red Orchestra is on sale for $5 again on Steam, and there’s also a new free mod for it that focuses more on the Allied operations.
“Darkest Hour brings the classic RO multiplayer experience to the beaches of Normandy, Operation Market-Garden, the Battle of the Bulge and on into the Reich.”
Because if there’s any WW2 setting which is criminally underutilized, it’s the Allied campaign in Europe!
Red Orchestra is MP only, right? I played some of it back when it was an Unreal 2k4 mod, but I assume it’s evolved quite a bit since then? Is there still a sizeable community playing it?
Did I miss it somewhere or did you guys miss Firefly - The Complete series on Blu-Rayfor $39.99?
Interested in this deal but ive been out of the loop for a while - are there new RB/GH games/bundles with better instruments coming soon?
Amazon’s Father’s Day videogame sale: apart from the deals already mentioned, they’ve also got Halo Wars for $42, Fable 2 for $30, Banjo Kazooie for $18, HAWX for $35, Viva Pinata TiP for $20, BiA:HH for $15, and EndWar for $25.
Not that RB2 wasn’t a quality purchase regardless, but this deal plus the Iron Maiden DLC forced my hand finally. Wooo.
Hmm, that’s odd. There’s tax added at the end, but I got free shipping. Are you in some weird exempt state?
Bestsku.com (who?) has Red Faction Guerrilla (X360) for $40 + $7 S/H.
