Via @GamerDeals, Buy.com has 12 month Xbox Live subscription cards for $33.99.

The Amazon Deal of the Day is an 80GB PS3 for $349.99.

If you missed out when Gamersgate had Sword of the Stars Ultimate for $15 a couple of weeks ago, good news: it’ll be only 8 bucks this weekend (June 12 - 14).

And if you did buy SotSU for $15 a couple of weeks ago, bad news: it’ll be only 8 bucks this weekend. I haven’t even had a chance to install my copy yet. :-(

The AIM games look interesting. Anyone tried them? I’ve never even heard of them, but people are saying they are exploration buildup games like Elite or X, but on a planet. Apparently it involves gliding, but you can also build up your own little fleet and take over parts of the planet and such. I guess you can upgrade skills? There seem to be hints of an RPG layer. For $15, I’m tempted. But I have so many other games, that I don’t want to buy it without some decent word of mouth.

The Beatles and Gh5 will have “new” instruments. The question: Is the quality and longevity of the moving parts getting any better? I’ll let someone else be the guinea pigs.

Thanks, I guess I’d better hurry up and try the demo to see if I like this game.

Looks like mostly the usual junk at GoGamer this week. I’m tempted to get Gothic 3 eventually but I think I can hold out for 2 or 3 dollars. :)

12 month XBL Gold subscription for $34. I notice these are actually 12 month cards, not the old 12+1 cards. I wonder if they no longer sell the 13 month cards?

MSUsteve posted that.

I love the tagline

“Your fun never ends”*
(Until one year from now)

Hahaha. That’s pretty good.

Your fun never ends!*

(*your fun may end)

SWEET! I now have a whole weekend to be busy and forget to buy it.

Thanks man.

Don’t forget to bitch on Monday about how you missed the sale.

Looks like the $7.99 price is live now…going to pick it up - thanks!

They emailed some good deals that aren’t on the site yet.

Prototype for $35 for PC; more on 360. Sims 3 for $40. etc.

Stupid GoGamer emails. I’ve signed up multiple times and activated, but I never got any past the first one.

Email is so complicated.

I bumped into them a while back, but I’ve never found any real information on the web about them. They do sound cool, though.

Yeah, that really galls me. It’s one thing to offer me King’s Bounty for $10 months after I bought it for, I dunno, like $25-30, but I’ve hardly had time to blink and suddenly SotS is half what I paid for it on a theoretical “deal”.

Peggle for the iPhone $.99 through June 14. Sold!

So I installed this on my machine to try out my fancy new GTX260, and even though I’m not running DX10 nor using PhysX, the demo’s kind of running like a dog. Also, The demo has about 5 minutes of playtime in it as far as I can see- the room you start out in, the one with the lightbulb near the chair and the one with the busted staircase. Am I missing something?

The rest of my system-- E8400 C2 Duo dualcore 3 GHz, Audigy 2ZS.

Thanks for the deal! The fiancee is transfering over from Sprint, so this just saved us $100!

The only slightly disconcerting thing is that although we went through Bing for the deal, it hasn’t shown up on the cashback rewards page. I’m guessing it’s because they haven’t actually charged the credit card yet?
