I picked up Lost Odyssey from Sears for $4.97. Prices vary per store, but mine actually had the prices from a few sales back, so instead of $9.97 Lost Odyssey was actually marked at $14.97, so it definitely pays to check with a clerk. Eternal Sonata is also $4.97, but mine was out.

GamersGate being out of serials for Men of War is hilarious. Or something.

Also, I hate my DVD burner. Trying to copy the installation files to a disc but it just sucks.

Looks like Amazon buying Reflexive is finally paying off for consumers, anyway.

Crimsonland down to $10, at last. Also tempted to grab Mexican Motor Mafia after playing Dark Wind. Definitely buy Zombie Smashers X2 for $7 if you like River City Ransom! Great clone by the guy that made The Dishwasher on XBLA.

Best Buy has the Sims 3 for $39.99

If anyone is interested 4gig sandisk psp memory cards are 20 bucks at best buy right now (half price).

Not as good a deal as this (found today):

I’m starting to realize that these games fall to $20 for a reason.

The Force Unleashed is very meh so far. It’s a whole lot of the exact same thing over and over again.

Prince of Persia is alright and while the princess auto-save is actually very nice, the game is repetitive as hell especially when it comes to gathering up light seeds.

So, I don’t think I regret buying these games but I will say that I think I paid a fair price for them. They are $20 games.

“The Force Unleashed” is a good game, but not a great one. I just finished it a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was “meh.”

“Meh” because as the game progressed I didn’t have that feeling of awesomeness that I should have felt. The enemies didn’t get smarter, they just got amazingly good anti-Jedi tech that just didn’t feel in-line with the lore, if that makes sense.

I don’t see myself playing through it again just to get some unlockables either. Too many other games in my backlog.

So for $20, you will hopefully have no regrets.

That’s really my issue with it. I don’t feel like Darth Vadar’s apprentice. I should be mowing through these guys but they somehow are able to hit and stun me and generally give me trouble … what?

I’m a high ranking Dark Jedi. This the part where you die, little foot soldier dude.

I’ll probably finish it but I do feel that they could have used another 6 months just working on the feel of the game. I don’t feel like a bad ass and I really should.

I agree on Force Unleashed. Prince of Persia does get better. Some of the fertile lands are a lot more interesting than others. Especially once you get to the second tier ones. I had a great time playing through PoP, especially once I got into the groove of things. There’s just something very zen about the whole game. It’s relaxing and exciting at the same time, especially some of the later levels. Plus some of the Elika power pads are a lot more fun than others. The Yellow one, for example, is just crap, because it involves flying around trying to dodge obstacles, but the green one, which involves running up walls from pad to pad, was just a blast.

That’s good to hear, Rock8man! The graphics are nice enough to keep me playing so if it gets better later on that’s awesome.

If you still haven’t bought it, Newegg has Red Faction Guerrilla (X360) for $40.

I’ve been waiting for a price drop. Thanks!

BAH!

It was worth it to get it earlier.

Matches the price I paid at Target for the PS3 version, which means I’m returning it to play multiplayer on 360 with everyone. Sweet.

Most of you probably know this, but:America’s Army 3 can be pre-loaded on Steam. It’s free so you might as well try.

Don’t tell Charles I said this, but Dark Sector is half off ($9.99) on Steam this week.

$27 AR at BuyDig.com. I’m definitely picking this up.

My current mouse (a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer) sucks. For an ergonomic mouse, it sure gives me hand cramps, and the side buttons are too easy to click accidentally.

The thing that drives me crazy about Logitech mice is the Logitech drivers and (maybe) the Setpoint software. I have a G5 myself and really like to use the two little buttons at either end of the scroll wheel to fast-scroll, but the Logitech drivers have caused a number of crashes in games for me, as reported by the Event Viewer.

That’s weird. I haven’t had any such crashes on my G3, G5, or G7.

The trouble for me is pushing the scroll wheel button to the left on my G5 and G7 (I have this set to the “Back” command) inserts a diamond (♦) into any text field I’m writing in, instead of actually letting me go back. I have to click out of a text field just to hit the back button. Annoying.
