Yeah its out and has some pretty heavy DRM to boot, hence the requirement for a internet connection. IIRC you have to log into a client to play (even in SP) and it also phones home before and after each SP mission.
EDIT: If you want to find out more some QT3’ers have the game and gave their impressions in the Recent air combat sim recommendations? thread starting on page 20.
At $5 below they had a bunch of pc games. It looked like a lot of titles by Ubisoft, Sega, and Activision value released in 2007-2008.
Sega:
Universe at War
The Hulk
Iron Man
The Club
Ubisoft
Rainbowsix Vegas
Rainbowsix Vegas 2
Rainbowsix Lockdown
The Settlers - Rise of An Empire - Gold Edition
Brothers in Arms Hells Highway
Assassins Creed
There were more but those are the ones I remember

We have one of those nearby, will check it out, thanks!
Don’t want to go too off-topic here, but I just want to comment on the DLC for Prince of Persia: It doesn’t add much. It’s a stand-alone chapter you can finish in a couple of hours, all set in dreary underground sections that were quickly thrown together. Not worth getting unless you REALLY enjoy the platforming gameplay.
The story from the actual game isn’t really concluded, instead you’re teased with hints at a sequel.
I am tempted to get that Majesty Gold for $5 deal on Impulse - does anyone play this on a netbook? I have a bog standard eee PC that runs at 1024x600.
I bought it paying with PayPal, so it doesn’t seem to have anything do to with Germany. But: I only got the cut German version. I had to find a patch to get rid of the censored parts. And of course you get the German translation which isn’t that bad but still I would have preferred the original. Had I known this I would have bought it from amazon.co.uk which isn’t that more expensive.
Decided to pass on Age of Myth and Majesty. Just too many strategy games to even think about adding extras.
Graduate Games is offering The Magic Toy Chest for free through July 5th. The author says he would like more people to experience the game. Apparently it is an Incredible Machine / Crayon Physics puzzle type game.
Age of Mythologies isn’t anything terribly special in my book (though the DS version, which is a total rewrite of it as turn-based, is pretty hot). But you really should pick up Majesty. There’s nothing else like it.
Try right clicking and going to Properties, then select the Language tab and pick English. That is, if the censored version supports that - the standard version has five languages to choose from.
But be warned, Steam will flush out the data files (voices, textures, videos) and redownload them… as I just found out the hard way. Might want to back them up if you want to try this.

The kids play the heck out of this one.
I went to the local shopko, and they had a mega clearance on PC games.
I got
Titan Quest for 5 bucks
Flatout 2 for 3 bucks
Enter the Matrix: Path of Neo for 2 bucks
There were also a ton of other games for 1-10 dollars. I almost got FF Online, but then I quickly decided against it, as it was just one of the expansions, damn those boxes for not being descriptive. It was only 3 bucks, so I almost bit anyway.
It seems like anything 5 bucks or below is an instant buy for me, I just can’t pass up a game for that price!

matrix path of neo should not be bought. Watch the ending on YouTube.
It was 2 bucks, I couldn’t resist!!
Best Buy is having a $10 clearance sale on PC games starting today. I just picked up Tomb Raider Underworld and Mines of Moria CE for $10; I also saw Turok, LotR Conquest & Brothers in Arms 3. Check their website or look for games with a Best Buy sticker on top.
Was that a B&M sale? Because on the website TR: U isn’t even available for PC.
There is Red Alert 3, though. Very tempting.
Oh c’mon. It’s a bad game, sure, (and I wouldn’t get it for PC), but it’s a lot better than Enter the Matrix before it, and there are some reasonably fun and/or cool parts of it. If it were a lot less broken, it’d maybe even be good.
Wow, now you have me confused. I’m one of the rare people who thought Enter the Matrix was really good. Me and my friends played through it together and it made for an excellent game where you pass the controller around. I’m not going to argue with any of the people’s criticisms of the game, the animations did need work, the ending was absolutely terrible, as were the vehicle sections, but 80% of that game was just running around on foot in the Matrix dressed as a badass with shades on, and kicking ass in a really, really hard game (at least when played on the toughest difficulty), and fighting an agent really put the fear of god in you because it was actually really tough. So yeah, we loved Enter the Matrix. It’s one of the rare games which got piss poor reviews that I thought was mostly brilliant.
So if this other Matrix game is even better? Wow!
