Where is/was this, Rob?

I saw them at $5 Belows in Golden Ring Maryland, Bel Air Maryland and one in Virgina near Doswell over the past week.

Don’t know if it’s an across the board change in MSRP or a limited time deal, but Chrono Trigger for the DS is $20 on Amazon. That’s a 50% drop from what it was retailing on the site a week ago.

I did kinda sorta like the on foot parts I played of Enter the Matrix, but the vehicle sections were so incredibly terrible I never got past them and chucked the game in. I don’t think Path of Neo has any vehicle sections, so the remaining part that doesn’t work for me is the shooting. But the core kick-and-punchy’s pretty decent and you get to do some of the coolest scenes from the movies.

There were many of these PC games at the Five Below in Turnersville, NJ. Thanks for theheads-up on this, I picked up Rainbox Six: Vegas 2, Desperados 2, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warrior. There were also some PS2 and X-Box games for $5.

It is a B&M sale, although a few titles are available online as well. Seems to be YMMV, based on the CAG thread about it. BB’s RZ website mentions the sale, but unfortunately does not list which titles are included.

Wow, the Amazon DotD today was amazing. No wonder it’s already sold out. Apparently they were selling the 360 version of Chronicles of Riddick for $15. I already own the game (and have played through Escape from Butcher Bay again, totally worth it!) but for that price I would have bought another couple of copies and gifted them to a couple of friends and relatives who have never played the game.

EDIT: Oh, and sometimes, during the day after a DotD is out of stock, it comes back in stock for some reason, so it might be worth keeping an eye on.

Oooooooooh, that makes sense. I thought you meant “at a price point of $5.00 and under,” and didn’t realize it was the name of a store chain.

Never heard of it. But some of those titles show up for $6.00 from time to time at the local Big Lots!, which is like a chintzier, down-market Wal-Mart.

Lately, they’ve been flooded with second-rate Dreamcatcher titles like Loki (CE), Dead Reefs, and SpaceForce Captains. Also, plenty of cheapo copies of Guild Wars: Game of the Year edition.

You’re being generous. Big Lots is like shopping in Tijuana, with Portugese-labeled boxes of Captain Crunch and 14-oz cans of Pepsi Light.

One reason it went OOS so quickly is because *ucking greedy @ssholes were purchasing 10 copies to trade back to Amazon at the higher Amazon trade-in value to make a buck. Amazon has since reduced the trade-in value to the DotD price, but the damage has already been done. I would have bought one without giving it a second thought.

Hey, I have to cut them some slack, because they occasionally get in decent Polish jaffa cakes, and St. Dalfour lemon tea.

Don’t forget ebay sellers who buy shit and then sell it for a few bucks more (plus 8 bucks for shipping, of course).

Stopped by my local Best Buy this afternoon. If they’re having such a sale, there’s no indication of it. No stickers, no visible price cuts, no tables or bins, nothing.

Got some great PG Tips from Big Lots, too. Used to have one here but it closed after the landowner raised the rent on them. Real shame since they almost always have goodies in the food area that you either can’t find elsewhere or for a much better price. Got some fantastic espresso from 'em a while back too. Always stop at a Big Lots if I see one while traveling.

GamersGate has Ceville on sale today for $12.45

I thought this game was a little overpriced on release, but this seems like a better price. Has anyone played this adventure game?

Mad World appears to have dropped to $30.

I hate to make fun, but I burst out laughing this morning thinking about posting this bargain to QT3:

Break Out the Bible $2

The website name reminds me of that South Park where Cartman figured out that Christian Rock just substitutes Jesus for the romantic subject of the song.

Via @VideoGameDeals, Red Octane is offering a one day sale on a GH: Metallica and GH: Smash Hits two pack for all platforms.
