Oh wow, and it also includes F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin for 360 and PS3. I still haven’t decided whether I want to play that on the 360 or PC.

360: Controller works great too, plus it runs smooth all the time.
I wish I knew if the horrendous constant hitches in the demo of the PC version are just a quirk of the demo, or if the whole game will be like that for me on my machine. Maybe it’s best to be safe and get the 360 version.

F.E.A.R. 2 (the full game, never tried the demo) ran great on my PC. Basic specs: Intel E6700 CPU, nVidia GTX 260 GPU and 4 GB RAM.

The demo ran horribly for me, hitches everywhere. The full version was smooth as butter.

That makes me feel better. My system isn’t as hefty as yours (AMD dual core 4400+, 4850 512MB, 2 GB RAM), but if you were getting hitches in the demo, but in the main game, there is hope.
Yep, the hitches that were in demo are absent in full.I am playing it right now.Even when it autosaves it does not hitch.

I called the Gamestop closest to me and asked if they had any sealed copies of SF4 and MadWorld. Their answer? “No, but we have plenty of display [gutted] copies.” Dude! If I wanted a gutted copy, I’d have bought a used copy when there wasn’t a sale. Since I refuse to buy used games, I don’t want your gutted games. I don’t care if it hasn’t been owned by a previous customer or not: gutted = used. If it’s not sealed, it’s used. Get it, Gamestop? God, I hate that company…

It’s gotten to a point now that the one Gamestop I go to, if I ask for a game, and the guy has a gutted copy, he just tells me they don’t have it in as he knows I’ll never buy one.
The worst thing about gutted copies is that they’re often in much worse shape than an actual used copy. Giving the general public access to something on a shelf where kids are chewing on it, chum-covered manpaws grope it and god knows what else comes into contact with it makes the whole thing just disgusting.
At least with a used copy you’re dealing with one person who had possession of it, and they may have even had some dignity.
It is almost as if Gamestop wanted you to buy just used games. hmmmmmmm.
As with others, that strategy fails miserably with me. I just wouldn’t buy anything if confronted with a gutted copy being sold as “new”. Fortunately it’s be ages since I’ve even entered a Gamestop, let along bought something there. Everything is cheaper on Amazon and it’s all actually new. Even better, they bring it right to my house.
