Whoa – how long has TR:U been on sale for $10 at Best Buy? I was just there a few days ago and it was still priced at $39.99.
yeah… I haven’t seen that deal anywhere.
Part of BB’s July clearance sale on PC games which I posted about a few weeks ago. Seems to be YMMV, though; check to see if there’s a green-ish BB sticker on the case.
I really need to stop reading this thread. I don’t have any time for all the games I keep getting, or wanting to get, when I see these crazy deals.
What is Star Assault? Their description says: The intro from a famous tv-series could also describe Star Assault, which is a perfect mixture between “Wing Commander” and “Battlestar Galactica”.
First of all, what famous tv series? Battlestar Galactica, I assume? So it’s a space-sim where you are trying to find a home, like in Homeworld? Is this a good space sim?

Just so I get it right, you mean I can just install CoH: OF from Steam and is able to play CoH without having to install CoH as long as I enter the key. Did I get it right?
Regarding Dawn of War on Steam:
The Gold Edition is 9,99€, the Platinum Edition (which contains the Gold Edition) is 7,99€.
Yup. Opposing Fronts contains all the content of CoH, and Tales of Valor contains all the content of CoH and OF. You need to input the key within the game to unlock the corresponding content.
Big 48 Hour Madness sale. Too many to list. Lots of preorder deals as well.
All that and the only thing I’m looking at is Arma 2. Not sure if I’m ready to buy yet however.
That sale is the first time I’ve ever seen a retail PC game go for 50 cents though!
I bought Battlespire, new-in-box, for $0.01 from EB many years ago. Now that was a bargain!
Bah. I didn’t actually buy it, but I’ve seen Bad Day L.A. go for -$1. (Yes, that’s a negative sign.)
I think the only really interesting thing on that list is discounted preorder Demon’s Souls, and I’m going to keep my preorder with Amazon, thanks.
“GoGamer does not ship to International Destinations at this time.”
aaaaaaaaaaarrgggghhhh
I would get at least 10 games from that sale.Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Not a bad 48 hour madness. I bought Operation Darkness and Zoids something something for 5.90 each. That is about what I wanted to pay for those games.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is $35 at Amazon.
Man I love GoGamer’s 48 hour madness so much. Got Prince of Persia and Mirror’s Edge one week, Operation Darkness and Blazing Angels 2 the next, and BIA: Hell’s Highway and Jade Empire Special Edition this week. I used to not have a backlog at one time, not going to be like that anymore. Also love the fact that the 48 hour madness lasts about 80 hours. Madness!
So, having never played Dawn of War, should I pick up the originals in the relic complete pack, or should I just skip it and get DoW2?
