Cheapassgamer explains how Amazon has sweetened the deal even more on Guitar Hero 5. You’ll get Guitar Hero: Van Halen, $10 credit towards buying Video games at Amazon, $5 credit towards buying Amazon mp3s, and $5 credit towards buying mp3s of music that’s in Guitar Hero 5.

I sure hope so.
When it went on Sale in steam last year, it was a pathetic 20% off, if I recall correctly.
If for some reason you’re still rockin’ on a PS2, Red Octane has Guitar Hero World Tour + 2 guitars for $50 with free shipping.
Also, Amazon DotD: “Star Wars - Best of PC” compilation (Empire at War, Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars Battlefront, Republic Commando) for $26.

If you want a 120Gb 360 HD, Sears in store has them on clearance for $50. That’s the deal of the century given that MSRP is $150.

Holy crap… I am buying that.
Since when does that represent the best of the Star Wars PC games? There’s no X-Wing or TIE Fighter on there, to say nothing of the Dark Forces series! Fucking LucasArts.
As for that hard drive, I’m going to check out Sears tomorrow, but if anyone runs into any extras and wants to pick one up for me (to be reimbursed, of course)…
Trine is down to $22.50 on Steam and D2D and maybe some other places for a week. This puts it closer to the $20 it will cost on PSN if that version ever actually comes out.
What the fuck no way! I was just at Sears this weekend. Damn that’s a really good price.

Probably shouldn’t pick it up at that price, since there’s also a retail PC release coming out for $20. The $30 Steam release and the “Sale” to $22 seems like a moneygrab.
I walked into my local maryland Big Lots yesterday and they had a bunch of pc games for $4 and $6 dollars. Off the top of my head:
Space siege
Universe at War
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
Alone in the Dark
Driver: Parallel Lines
Quake Wars
Area 51 black Site
Halo 2
Viva Pinta
John Woo’s Stranglehold
Today’s DotD at Amazon is Rock Band 2 (w/instruments) for all three consoles for $90 each. That’s the same price as the stand-alone Rock Band 2 drums, which seem to never come down in price.

No luck here, the sears near me doesn’t even have a listing for hard drives for the 360.
Unfortunately the opinions were a bit negative. I am a big fan of indie games but concluded the same thing as a lot of other people, that it looked pretty and seemed like a nice idea, but the actual gameplay was bland. Did not see anyone mention that it was better in the lategame so maybe there is still some hidden gem there, I don’t know.

I bought this monitor at that price when it went on sale a few months ago. I love it. One of the best purchases I have made all year.
