For anyone interested in the special edition of batman arkham asylum , amazon has both the ps3 and 360 edition discounted right now. Ps3 is $93 and 360 is $89.
What? The SEs are really that much!? Do you get a batman suit with them?

$89? FFS, they’d better be including a batarang or something.
Ask and ye shall receive.
Sounds like you can’t throw it at dudes, though. Well, not unless you want the stand to get in the way.
I wonder if they welded them together to keep the kids from detaching the stand and throwing the batarang into their brother’s head, just like Batman would.
Holy Shit! This is an RPG Maker game!
Apparently there have been a number of indie RPG-Maker games. I think the Aveyond series and Deadly Sin also use it.
Has anyone played this? Is it worth it?

I haven’t played it, but looked around for reviews on it because it too caught my eye. This guy seems to like it:

But I’m not sold on it. The game looks very tech demo-y or something to me .

Droplitz on steam for $1.99 for a week, 80% off to celebrate the iPhone release.
They’ve also got Worldwide Soccer Manager 2009 for $22.50 (25% off), Football Manager Live for $22 (50% off), and Killing Floor for $15 (25% off).
Droplitz is an excellent puzzle game.

I played the demo a couple times and there is some interesting strategery, you kinda just kill waves of things with various party members. There was not enough to the game for my liking.

The Droplitz demo was interesting but not enough to really grab me for $10.
For $2, it would have to really suck to disappoint me.
I agree, and it’s a bummer because it seems like it would be some quick casual fun.

And the dudes worked on it and refined it for quite a while. It is one of those games where the premise is good, the mechanics are interesting, but they just missed something and I cannot really point to it.
Jason McCullough did a mod list for FO 1/2 here. I believe there is another “I’m replaying FO2” thread that goes more in depth into the Restoration Project and other fancon projects.
Anyways, I thought almost all of the fan content was unbearably bad. Beyond the various unofficial bug fixes, the only worthwhile mod I found was one that reskinned Sulik and Cassidy when you gave them different armour. They were original sprites, not body-swaps with the game’s existing artwork, in-character with the NPCs (Sulik’s armour adorned with tiny tribal glyphs for instance) and they were just as good as anything that shipped with the game, which is much much more than you can say for any of the other mods out there. IIRC it was bundled with the Restoration Project, but came with its own clicky box in the installer.
