Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War - Soulstorm
Full Spectrum Warrior* and
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers*
(*Full Spectrum Warrior games not available in Germany - sorry but still a great deal, right?)
All for $74.99.
I don’t know about those huge packs.
Most people will have at least some of the games already and then the deal looks not that decent anymore.
For someone that has none of the games it’s a steal though!
If you’re referring to the Gamersgate downloader, they phased that out months ago. There’s still a download shell thing, but it’s much more unobtrusive. Also, it actually works on my system.
Personally, I don’t care that much about the deals already listed - I own all the Gothic games anyway, for one. But not mentioned was the fact that they also have Buka games at 50% off this weekend.
I know that doesn’t necessarily mean anything to many people, so I will simply say:
Pathologic for $7.50.
Damn. If I didn’t have… seven of those already, that’d be really good.

Grrr, why haven’t they dropped the price on CoH:Tales of Valour yet?
It’s the best RPG ever made, and the best six bucks you’ll ever spend in your life.

Well, I bought a girl in college lunch for about that amount and…
Whoa, just saw Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory was put on Steam for $9.99 although it’s got a debut sale going so it’s temporarily $8.99 (until Sept 3). I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long. Well, I’m still waiting since I can’t verify if there’s no StarForce in it since nobody in their forums has been able to get it to download yet.
Meanwhile I’ve been pacing back and forth trying to decide whether or not to go for that Majesty 2 preorder deal.
Amazon is offering a $10 credit towards future video game purchases if you purchase Batman: Arkham Asylum for PS3/360 (currently $52.99).
I’ve played exactly none of these games… but $75 is still a significant chunk of cash… tempting…
Thanks for the tip, I’ve often been interested in checking that game out. Now I can finally add it to my backlog!
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Amazon is having an all video game Gold Box event today. Along with that the Deal of the Day is The Sims 3 for $29.98.
Courtesy of @GamerDeals, the clues for each Gold Box Deal are as follows:
9:00 am EST - Take the challenge w/ this Wii video game
12:00 pm EST - Fore!
2:00 pm EST - Who needs pre-season, Get on the gridiron Now!
5:00 pm EST - Grab your Wii Nunchuk and get Active w/ this game
8:00 pm EST - Take to the Ski Hills w/ this action packed Wii game
11:00 pm EST - Go Long!.. virtually w/ this video game
Sounds like they’re all Wii games.
And all sporty-ish Wii games at that. Ugh. Good price on Sims 3, though, might pick that up.
Sounds like they’re all going to be sports games. The Gridiron one might be Madden for all consoles, and the Go Long! one could be MLB 2K9 or MLB: The Show. Either way, it’s probably not restricted to the Wii version.
Of course, if Sports was the theme, I don’t know how the Sims 3 would fit into that. Usually the DotD follows the same theme as the rest of the Gold Box.
Man, I realize that Dave Long started this thread, but I think he should be banned. No one else has a magical Target like he does, so his advice is always useless and taunting! I’m not even sure it’s real. Sure, he took picture once, but how do we know he doesn’t just have a Target facade set up in his basement? Goddammit! I want a Target that has deals! How the hell do you do it, Dave? Is there some terrible secret? Shit, wait, do you have a gateway to Narnia in your closet? Is this Target in fucking Narnia?
Based on the clues, and as many are suspecting, all of these will likely be Wii games, which is too bad, since I was looking forward to some 360 and PS3 titles.
Psst…come here…
…check Target stores late Monday and Friday afternoons for new clearance items and lowered clearance prices on existing clearance items…
Don’t tell anyone I told you this; it’ll be our secret. Shh…
