And on my current budget… it doesn’t make sense. Sucks too, I really wouldn’t’ve minded buying Assassin’s creed for 40 dollars.

Yeah, I pay $0 for shipping too, and get it release day, and pay no tax, and it’s almost always $10 less than Best Buy. So…yeah.

I’m waiting for the action week. Hopefully they’ll have a decent shooter that they will be willing to sell in Europe. No Ubisoft games please.

Unfortunately the post that he linked to, links to a non-existent file on filefront. It seems as though Microsoft has stopped the distribution of that file. I also downloaded the referenced c++ files, but they don’t have the file either. Oh well, won’t be the first $5 I’ve wasted.

LOL!

Live Free or Die, bitches!

As a person who enjoyed Silent Service and Aces of the Deep in the ol’ days, is Silent Hunter 3 worth $5? I’ve been waiting for Silent Hunter IV to hit $10, but it hasn’t, yet…

It should be a no-brainer.

Are there any drawbacks to ordering from D2D vs. GamersGate, say? Both appear to allow you to redownload on demand. Yes, both have DRM.

I find D2D’s downloading experience to be better than GamersGate, even with GG’s ‘new’ downloading process. GG tends to get stuck for me, while I’ve never had a problem with D2D.

Like I said before, it depends on the game. Many D2D games have no DRM at all and I, like Lorini, find them a better overall service that Gamersgate. Their download speeds are usually faster also.

Doesn’t anyone here pay their Use Tax? I’m shocked, shocked I tell ya!

Amazon DotD: HotD Overkill for $20.

I report some of it on my tax return, mostly out of guilt.

Steam’s weekend deal is Braid for $4.99

I pay my “Amazon tax” as I am in New York.

Braid for 5 bucks – awesome deal. Finally picking up PC version.

Costco has the Beatles Rock Band Special Edition for $229. Less of a ripoff than full price!

Also, they have the stand-alone versions for $53.99, and the remastered stereo albums for $11.99, I believe… I went there today.

Yeah, me too. Needed a case of mushrooms…
