Cool, does AudioSurf have decent album or multi-track support yet? I’m not much of a “singles” guy. It’s been a long time since I tried the demo but I remember it seeming kind of annoying.

No playlist support yet that I’m aware of. They did add a number of features that are configured via command-line arguments, so maybe it’s possible that way.

I just pulled the trigger on Beyond Good and Evil even though I already own the CD version. I just couldn’t resist. Does anyone know if the CD version had any sort of copy protection/CD check? Not that I care all that much… I guess I’m just a little curious. Gimme another 5 years or so and I’ll actually get around to playing this sucker. Think it will age well?

Is UFO:Extraterrestrial any good? Or was that one of the bad ones. It’s less than 10 bucks at Gamer’s Gate this weekend.

I’m not sure this is a conventional bargain per se, but it’s a good deal for anyone that wants the Fable 2: Limited Edition. Amazon.com has Fable 2 LE for $66.99. You can elect to have “Release Date Delivery” for $5.98 (or for free if you’re a Prime member) and even with shipping it is cheaper than buying the Fable 2 LE from EB/Gamestop for $79.99.

Wow, good find, Steve. Thanks for sharing.

That’s a pretty aggressive deal.

I saw this, and I’m torn. Do I keep my normal edition for $56.99 (was a Gold Box deal for me) with free Release Date Delivery, or do I cancel it in favor of the LE for $10 more? Ugh…why do I agonize over such decisions?

Let’s frame it this way: if you’re paying ten bucks more, it’s Release Date shipping for ten bucks.

Nice find, hadn’t done my Fable2 preorder yet.

I have now - as well as set a reminder to cancel my Prime next month.

(I’ll bulk up on the summer releases in advance, then let them trickle in on their respective Release Days - a perfect plan!)

Fable 2 pre-order incentive at GameStop is a code to get the 800 MS point-valued Pub Games. So if you’ve got even the slightest interest in that, it may be another way to go.

Don’t you get that from pretty much anywhere you pre-order? Could be mistaken, I just thought it was universal.

It’s only from these retailers, though those are pretty much most of the major ones…

I found Viking for 19.99 clearance at Target. Worth opening?

Huh, just checked Amazon and they have it for $20 too, but it’s 2-3 weeks backordered which means it’s a crapshoot if you ever get it. I ordered it, it sounded like meaningless fun with a couple of interesting hooks not fully fleshed out.

It’s worth playing, and it’s already $17.99 used so if you’re worried that you’d lose value by opening it, don’t be.

The last I heard GameStop/EB was saying they are out of those codes and they’re “working with” MS to get more codes. I have an email from an EB rep telling me that the code offer was advertised as limited (which it wasn’t) as an excuse for why I hadn’t received one even though I’d preordered at least a month before the codes went out. So I wouldn’t expect to get a Pub Games code from EB/Gamestop unless something has changed in the last week or so.

Oh, and I did eventually get my code when I finally got a rep smart enough to check on whether I had ever been sent one. Turned out I had, but it had never arrived in my Inbox (no it wasn’t in spam/trash either) so he simply resent my code.

Looks like gogamer has Alone in the Dark PC for just $15. Anyone care to comment if it is worth that much?

Sounds like it might be worth it for the novelty alone - not to mention it’s getting a huge patch apparently based on user complaints.

I’m waiting for AITD to hit $5.95.
