Ah, so that’s how they get you. On the interest.

Devious.

My experience is that Amazon is very conservative with their estimated ship dates. I’d almost guarantee they’d be shipped in a week or less.

I guess they ran out of 1600 point cards. I ordered a couple of 4000 point cards right after I posted that deal, and mine will get here on Tuesday.

Divine Divinity jewel case only:
Marked down to $4.98, red tagged. Usually $10.99

Also,

Alone in the Dark, PC
Marked down to $20.98, also red tagged.

Found at a Target in California, MD in the End Caps and on the 'Clearance Rack back in Electronics".

Just FYI, red tagging usually kicks off periodic price drops from week to week.

Are the Xbox live point card prices on Amazon their new price or a temporary sale? I’m really tempted to get a few more cards, but I just bought 3 cards at the last Target sale.

They don’t specify, but I’m 99% sure it’s a temporary sale on MS points. They have things like controllers that are permanently cheaper than B&M stores, but I doubt that these points will be permanently sold at this price. Though it would be awesome if that was the case. I also bought 3 or 4 cards at the last Target sale, but I already spent most of those last week when I bought the Judas Priest album, the Boston pack and The Who collection in Rock Band.

Any idea how long Amazon usually runs these sales for? I figure after the Rush album and Mega Man 9 all my MS points are going to be dried up.

If anyone is looking to buy that, GoGamer has it for $9.90 for another 3 hours or so. PC, 360, or PS2.

Amazon has Rockband 2 with a free 1600pt xbox live card.

Damnit. I pre-ordered from Amazon, and I didn’t get that!

Yeah, I pre-ordered from Amazon too, but this deal only started yesterday.

Cancel and re-order?

We already have our games. I’m assuming Robert does too. I’ve had it a week now.

Oh, right. The pre-order bit threw me, and the fact that I’m still waiting on the PS3 version.

Interesting bit about the Amazon Rock Band 2 deal: through its listing, you can add just the points card(s) to your basket, and get discounted XBLA points–1600 for $16 instead of $20.

EBGames.com’s deal of the day is free overnight shipping on Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. Enter the coupon code “MOTORSTORM”.

The Suffering (PC) for the low low price of nada.

Thanks for the heads up. This game got good reviews back in the day. Downloaded and looking forward to checking out soon.

ad alert! when you start up the game and exit, there is a short video ad. for me it was an air force clip. not too bad, but a little intrusive.

Dell is offering the 360 Elite deal for $299 again.

It initially says $399 this time, but you enter the coupon code 4RTQ?64N?7HWMK

I found this from a poster on CAG, who got it from FatWallet, which I didn’t even know existed. Sweet, another electronics deals website bookmarked.

The 360 elite deal comes with Forza 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold, and two extra faceplates. Pretty sweet deal for a great price, I’d say.

EDIT: And hey look, now the deal is on the CAG front page, and it also mentions that the deal expires on Sept 29th.

Sweet, thanks for posting about the Dell Elite deal. I was mulling over buying a bigger HD for the install to HDD functionality that’s coming in November but given the stupid HDD pricing it actually makes more sense for me to buy this at $299 and unload my old system and the duplicate games I’ll be getting.
