Haha sorry, as others have conjectured “going Bio” refers to mass rax play, while Mech is the opposite relying far more on Factory units to survive and win the game.
It’s a term carryed over from SC1 where Terran players would either go loads of barracks or loads of factories, a practice not quite around in SC2 yet due to the prevalence of some Barracks units in any playstyle but the term is still applicable, especially when describing early game.
-edit- And Wallapuctus the last time they rolled out a patch as big as this they used the opportunity to do some serious server maintenance, I suspect that they are doing the same this time.
What’s this about now? If it’s because I missed earlier, there was a situation in work and apparently I was the only one available (read: stupid enough) to come in and give a dig out… I’m only coming in now and I fully plan on devouring some form of edible substance before I go anywhere near SC2 ;)

I was looking for the coolest custom maps that have been made so far. I spent most most of time playing custom in War 3, almost never vanilla. A lot of former War3 mappers have noted that the Starcraft 2 editor is a step back in lot of ways:

Should have pre-ordered from Best Buy to get a key. You probably won’t get a key until Monday at this point. If you don’t want to actually buy the game then just return the unopened package to the store when the game ships.

I’m loving this patch. For the first time ever I’ve been struggling with massive lags and timeouts, and the changes to the BNet names is utterly ridiculous.
There no longer are either identifiers or restrictions on creating duplicate names. Think about that for a moment.
Well, time to go log in as Flash for a while and scare people. Wish me luck!
Is it playable atm? I wasn’t able to actually get in any games.
Regular B.net, meaning ladder, is up and playable now. However, it seems to keep freezing for me mid games, rechecking my drivers now to see if that’s the issue. When I tried to launch a custom map it returned a User Maps Not Allowed message.

It’s somewhat up, in that you can get into games. 75% of the games freeze halfway through and disconnect though, so I’d say it’s frustrating to the point of being not worth bothering atm.
Good thing they’re ready to shut the beta down next weekend, what with everything ready to go for launch now. This last patch changed so much stuff that I’m astounded they’re feeling fine with only a few days of large-scale testing if for no other reason than balance, let alone stability.
