I’d love to keep it going, but at this point I think we’re just gelding the lily.

Just a bit.

Back on the mane topic.

Jeez, I saw all these new replies to this topic and thought something major happened. Can you all please stop horsing around?

This is getting a little filly.

All of these horrible horse puns give me a long face.

Time to rein this thread in.

Well that’s wonderful.

Not sure why I typed all this up, but I did!

Prices are higher this year, and this article from May 2021 predicted 2.87 a gallon for this summer, they were obviously wrong.

I couldn’t find gas any cheaper than $3.05 this week.

2020 - $2.07 summer average price per gallon.
2019 - $2.60
2018 - $2.87
2017 - $2.31
2016 - $2.23
2015 - $2.71
2014 - $3.57

Pulled some of the numbers from here and here.

Oil companies want the price at $60 or higher, so why pump more now to reduce prices?

It’s around $2.90 here

Eventually, to recover revenue some of the petrostates will have to pump out more gas.

I saw a sign for $4.89/gallon for premium here in the Bay Area. I’ve never seen it that high.

A big fucking deal of an executive order is supposed to be announced at 1:30 (eastern).

and would restore net neutrality rules that were undone during the Trump administration.

So we’ve got that going for us.

This article has some additional details on the financial measures.

Some good shit in there.

By which I mean, “Huzzah, a few common-sense measures to undo some of the last 60 years of capital’s unfettered stomping out of humanity in the United States.”

Still. Better than whatever insanity passes for “policy” on the other side.

I’ll believe it when my regional ISP monopoly allows anyone to compete with them.

Steps in the right direction.

They could always change the Zoom password.

Haha, that dude’s credentials are probably already revoked.
