I just got my ballot in the mail. Itās quite the clown car. Itās also how I learned billboard industry enthusiast Angelyne is still around. Sheās on the ballot.

Apparently she was a candidate in the previous recall, too.
Angelyne is over 70. Think about that.

Yeah I crossposted here because thereās legitimate potential to lose the Senate over this.

They just jail them instead and keep them locked up until they confess. Slight improvement. The Japanese justice system is crooked enough heāll feel right at home.

I knew this would be coming eventually, but Iām surprised itās The Guardian pushing the idea.
Bidenās cold-eyed focus on US interests dismayed many who value him for the emotional empathy that his predecessor sorely lacked. But it also came within the context of an economic agenda in which he has pushed back against globalisation by emphasising the needs of American workers making products on American soil.
He used the word āAmericaā or āAmericanā no fewer than 36 times during remarks earlier this month on strengthening US leadership on clean energy cars and trucks. āAnd when we invest in our infrastructure, weāre going to buy American products, American materials, and services from American businesses made in America, by American workers,ā Biden said.
Again, America first by another name.
I think this is a ridiculous take.

Wow! Fascist! Look, folks, it is NOT NORMAL for a US president to refer to the country or its people. Certainly not multiple times in a speech. Biden really is no different than Trump.
So is it just me or does it seem strange the president is leaving DC again for the weekend after just being away on vacation, I mean itās not like there is anything important going on.
I have a lot of AARP aged friends, family and co-workers and I keep hearing them asking where is he and what is more important than being in DC right now? I know its an optics issue really, but it matters to a lot of people apparently. They donāt care if you can work from pretty much anywhere as the president.
Maybe I am just getting tired of hearing all this shit non-stop all week, but it is starting to get to me.
Of all the things they could be worried about, this strikes me as just about the most stupid one they could pick. Just my view.
Especially since you know they didnāt care at all about Trumpās vacations. Poor guy was just working so hard and needed some golf time!
My guess is that for those people if it wasnāt his location it would be some other issue. They would grasp at any reason to denigrate Biden. There is no winning with them so donāt even play the game.
I mean, in fairness, I hate that cheeseball rah-rah bullshit, but I also more or less hate America, so, perhaps not the market segment most presidents are targeting :)
US President decides to spend more on US citizens than in a war! Isolationist!!!
