What’s the deal with the algorithmic blurring if the presidential seal?
There definitely some kind of intentional blur being placed over it, but I can’t imagine why.
I’m assuming this will be the basis of some new q anon conspiracy theory.

They didn’t have a podium with the correct seal at the black site where the communists are holding Biden prisoner.
It’s just an error caused by the deepfake algorithm that’s used to make it look like Joe Biden is the President instead of Donald Trump.
I swear sometimes the pitchbot reads this thread…

Lot of people saying it’s because it’s his personal account and not POTUS.

Wow, that’s so…non-corrupt.
The potholes the guy fills in or the bridge he builds, helps everyone in the community.
For the millions of families with children in poverty it’s fantastic. However, because household size rises as income, more than 1/2 the benefits will go to families making over the median household income of ~70K.
I went and checked the census data there are 7.8 million household with 3 or more people that make above 200K/year. Why we should increase the debt and deficit to give these people a tax break is a mystery to me.
From a Washington Post look at Republican freakouts over the bill, there’s this choice bit on Magic Taylor Gathering:
Remember when Joe Biden’s takeover of America was merely socialist? Progress!

Of those 13 how many care? The two names I immediately recognized - Anthony Gonzalez and Adam Kinzinger - already made it known they won’t be seeking reelection.
Good on them for doing the right thing I suppose, after there was no personal downside for them.
We got to get us some of that there communism.
This is a different argument than an alleged 2 million more jobs will have a much greater effect on poor families than will the child tax credit. Just sayin’.
What the actual fuck is radical centrism?

It’s a crackpot term to try and argue that the most successful Democratic politicians of the past half century were in fact bad… Somehow?
That’s not my argument.
The infrastructure bill helps virtually all Americans a least somewhat, and many quite a bit.
Even if you don’t own a car, or fly anywhere, you will still benefit from the port improvements, which will allow you to get packages faster, and your employer supplies they need. The smarter and hard grid means you are less likely to lose power during storms. Safer drinking water is good for everyone. For folks in rural area, high speed internet can be a huge improvement in their lives as well as their children.
Many of million or so folks who get high paying union jobs, will now be part of the middle class.
Overall, increase in productivity nationwide should completely pay for the bill
BBB is a mixed bag, climate change spending should benefit everyone, albeit it may take decades before the benefits are visible to all. Much of the rest is transfer payments, the classic robbing Peter to pay Paul. I’m happy to pay more taxes so the single mom with two kids, working fast food, can get an extra $600/month for six months. Not so much the family of four making $150K.
I"m also bothered by the use of BBB accounting tricks to “pay for things.” In particular, the child tax credit is only funded for two or maybe three years
What’s really the better anti-poverty bill for parents. The one provides an extra $1000/1600 per kid 2022, or 2023. Or the one that what the lets her kids get high speed internet, and $30/month subsidy for internet for 10 years, fills in pot holes so she doesn’t suffer a blow out, and replaces the old pipes to keep the drinking water safe?
