Yeah, no one bothers to bribe politicians who have no control over anything.

Maybe they should consider joining the democratic party and voting with democrats 50% of the time rather than 10% of the time.

I’ve heard lots about on it NPR and PBS (this is a joke, these two are almost as bad as MSNBC for talking to the base.) What they really need to do is get Mayor Pete on late night, plus John Stewart and Rogan. Somebody to talk to Teen Vogue and some tick tock influencers.

I wonder if the town infrastructure projects in Amazon New World can be tied in with the infrastructure bill.

While I find myself agreeing with John Stewart a lot I don’t like this trend of making comedians our thought leaders.

As to Rogan I’m right there with you. Hopefully the McLaughlin group will make another return. I mean you meant Tom, right?

Or perhaps get Biden to rebrand his image to get the benefits of the bill across to people. :)

rebrandbiden

I think it works like:

Is the infrastructure bill an amazing accomplishment? Yes indeed.

Does the MSM give it and Biden enough coverage and credit? No.

Will the Republicans twist it as a communist plot? They do that for anything Democrats do.

Sounds sexy!

It’s just a matter of what words you emphasize, isn’t it? I didn’t know Congress had a stripping committee.

All depends on who is on it. I believe Matt Gaetz is the chair.

Okay, now you’ve made it weird.

-Tom

It was actually a punishment appointment. Everyone knows you can’t serve in the House unless you’re already 25.

I laughed an entirely inappropriate amount at that.

Ayyy . . . what Matt wants, Matt Gaetz!

speaking of inappropriate, would adding AOC into this conversation qualify?

Thank you for being inappropriate old man for me.

Um, I mean, I don’t know what @Strollen’s all about! Pervert weirdo…

I think that this remains to be seen, and we’ll have to see what happens when Biden actually signs it.

Why hasn’t he signed it? Fuck if I know.

He definitely deserves the chair.

The comfy chair?

Why do that when they can take credit for a good thing even though they voted against it?

Why not both?
