Yep, I think in 10 years of increased tax enforcement we’ll almost certainly be able to collect 300 billion extra dollars and change. That’s the whole point of increasing the enforcement. So much right now is going uncollected, especially from people who don’t work W-2 jobs, particularly if they’re wealthy.

From what I heard on NPR yesterday, Biden administration tried to stop it in court but were denied so they’re selling the oil rights, but the speculation is that they’ll try to slow-walk the approval process after that.
