Personally, I don’t think anyone should allow Let’s Go Brandon to anger them much. I know Trump threw our frame of reference all out of whack, but trash-talking the president is totally normal and healthy. I like the story of how Let’s Go Brandon started (although I do feel kinda bad for the Nascar driver) and it’s a lot less hostile and confrontational than many of the Trump flag phrases like fuck your feelings and make liberals cry and all that garbage.

When someone says that phrase it confirms to me that they’re immature and a moron. I would have much more respect if someone said “fuck Biden because of XYZ”. But to say “let’s go Brandon” indicates to me that they’re like a 12 year old giggling after they got away with a double entendre.
My nephew’s wife has this FB page she uses for selling crafts she makes. Last night, on Christmas Eve, she decided to post a “Let’s Go Brandon” T-shirt for sale. I unfollowed the page.

A year ago, during the transition, the chuds big operation to own many libs was when they renamed their Twitter handles to “President Elect”… followed by their usual handle.
It’s like trying to figure out what a jellyfish is thinking.
I didn’t mean to suggest that someone specific here was upset about it, but I agree with Menzo that it often seems intended to provoke anger. For some folks, that’s the be-all, end-all of political involvement… razzing the other team. But joke’s on them cuz we’re all on:
My point wasn’t that I did something special, more that this whole LGB thing has blown up and become so ubitquitous that you can’t escape it. I had co-workers a few weeks ago buying LGB stickers on Amazon and slapping them up in their work areas, until someone contacted the base commander’s office and the director of our org got a phone call telling him about the situation.

LGB is an acronym for transphobic groups, chance you could cause some confusion, especially to Brits using it for Let’s Go Brandon stuff.
