They were getting them from the far left, who at the time was trashing the infrastructure bill in an attempt to bolster support for the BBB plan. They convinced their own supporters that Biden’s biggest accomplishment was in fact just GOP garbage.

And that’s part of why Biden’s support, among Democrats, is down to 74%.

Speaking of inflation, does anyone have numbers handy that summarize how inflation has been in other similar countries (I’m thinking places like the UK, Germany, France, etc.)? Because I know the inflation numbers are high, but to my smooth-brained way of thinking that seems likely to do with supply chain disruptions and demand spiking when the economic gears really started turning again over the past year.

That’s based off of nothing but a vague “that would seem to make sense” feeling. Is the high inflation mostly a US phenomena or are other Western countries dealing with it as well?
