We did our part. In theory our reps should be doing theirs. Our state has spoken, and not when it was a cool thing to do either. Back when they thought we were nuts!

But itâs so much easier to be spineless and look the other way while state legislators and voters make decisions for you!

Congresscritters are mostly performance artists at this point. That said, itâs something the electorate wants, damned near across the board. But we also keep electing old people and clowns, neither of which much care what the electorate wants since people will reelect them because theyâre old and clownish.
Making it a State issue only makes sense since thatâs thatâs the de facto status of it. But again, old people and performance artists.
I would understand this position, except⌠both Obama and Clinton were pot smokers. Possibly Biden too. To say to that pot is a disqualification to be an intern but fine for a President just comes across as hypocritical.

But thatâs apparently not what she was saying at all. Look at the tweet - if itâs accurate, she was saying itâs the laws that arenât suitable, not people who smoke pot.

As Menzo said, thatâs not what she was saying. And besides, they were looking at recent/current pot use. Clinton and Obama werenât smoking pot in the White House. Publicly, in any case. If they were, that would make it hypocritical.
I still donât understand. :D Maybe once I watch the interview rather than trying to unravel the Twitter stream things will become clearer to me.
That is the outcome many legislators are hoping for. Easy disenfranchisement.
Nothing about Bidenâs press conference?
Poor guy is so senile he can barely form coherent sentences.
Actually, no, heâs quite sharp and I wish I was as sharp as him today let alone whatever mess Iâll be in at his age.

Itâs all so delightfully boring/normal. I love that a President can have a press conference that doesnât result in 300 new posts related to it.
The folks who seem most agitated about the lack of regular presidential press conferences are White House reporters whose jobs suddenly got way more boring.
âRuff startâ. Oh, Associated Press, you slay meâŚ
Looking forward to how weâll gin up some outrage for this.
DEMONCRATS WANT TO SHOOT PATRIOTIC AMERICANS
I only have two questions about Dog-gate: What did they gnaw, and when did they gnaw it?
Youâll have to wait for the tell-all book âAll the Presidentâs Good Boysâ, by Woofward and Barkstein. Dropping on Amazon and Petsmart April 1st.

Pretty good press conference. Biden showed he was prepared and informed. How will the right wing complain?

What kind of NERD brings NOTES to a PRESS CONFERENCE?
