It does put to rest a lot of the Russian meddling ideas though. Apparently we were trying to convince ourselves that it had to be external factors, and not the fact that half of the US is truly stupid and/or evil.

That said the microtargeting enabled by social media? Definitely a thing.

Yes, but I view it like hypnotism. It only works if you were already predisposed to it.

Yes. That was a sign given after total destruction happened.

@triggercut, I heavily heavily discount this idea, but what’s the chance the egregious polling errors are actually pointing to shenanigans?

I kinda doubt it. But…that’s something I honestly wouldn’t know much about. Which…I’m not dodging the question. I mean: I really don’t know anything about what that would look like! I wish I could give you a better answer than “I don’t know.”…but if I’m being honest…

Seems like we’ll know about PA last, not next. Hopefully it’s just a cherry on top.
Really hope that Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada or Arizona become clear by the end of the day

If you trust the AP they just need to call NV and MI and that would be enough.

Completely anecdotal based on my experience yesterday as a first-time poll worker - while there is ample opportunity for shenanigans, it isn’t happening. Any and all goofiness is from having a bunch of poorly trained people making simple mistakes because the provided direction in many cases is written worse that IKEA furniture instructions. I will likely never vote in person again after seeing the process first-hand - I trust mailing my ballot in a LOT more.
Obviously, this is just at the polling place level - lots of room for sleight of hand elsewhere in the process.

Trump’s campaign manager says he’ll request a recount in Wisconsin, though it may be up to two weeks before one can begin. In 2016 a statewide recount increased Trump’s margin by 131 votes.
So, Trump’s message is: stop counting where we think we’re winning, but count twice where we’re losing.

Are polling errors consistent nation-wide or just in battleground states? Do states with the worst errors use DRE voting? Stuff like that, I’d imagine, but yeah, I doubt it too and I don’t really know either. Thanks for the response!
