I do like some of the things like hard lemonade.
Thanks for the recommendations!

Pennsylvania election officials plan to hold a news conference this afternoon. Democrats here are increasingly confident that Biden will have a big lead when all votes are counted.
Just want to clarify… Do we need to buckle up for that press conference? Dave’s nuts need to know.

I just want them to count the votes. I need to be able to stop worrying about this.
One thing to try is a tinto verano. That’s ice, red wine, sparkling water and a slice / wedge of citrus. Since you’re adulterating it, almost any bottle of red table wine will work.

Piesporter is about as sweet as it gets. I like to take a step up to Reisling, but I rarely drink whites.
White wines are usually sweeter, especially if cooled.

I just realiced we don’t have a “Political cartoons” thread

On that note, just make a sangria. It’s sweeter, and you can mask hard liquor if you want more alcohol.

It’s probably just to clarify the counting issues and to say it’s going to take longer, blah blah.
It is unclear what impact that will have on Dave’s nuts.

Thank you. Everyone is Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
The man doesn’t like dry wines. Don’t go semi sweet, because that’s as sweet as you like, go real actual sweeter wines.
Moscato is generally one of my wife’s favorites, and Niagra grape wines too.
Teensy update from PA: 122,000 vote margin.
In addition to the sweet whites already mentioned try Moscato - one of the sweetest whites short of a late harvest Riesling or ice wine.
Thigpen at YYOC reports that four votes have come in for Vernon Township, 3 for Trump and 1 for Biden, which is just shy of the 75.00001% rate that Trump needs in order to maintain his lead in Hamilton County. Buckle up!

Dan has had all the kids he expects to have, right?
That’s why I specifically mentions New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. More specifically, I’d say Marlboro New Zealand…but I’m unaware of any other wine-growing regions there.
They’re sweeter than Piesporters and Moscatos, and nowhere near as heavy in sugars as those two.
Those NZ Sauvignons are like drinking really light lemonade, with none of the diet aftertaste. They’re a glorious wine.

I mean, if you’re gonna drink a Riesling or Moscato, you might as well just mix a cocktail :) I do like a really full bodied smoky Port, but that’s not really wine.
What about a nice Jerez Sherry? They are underappreciated and quite fine. They range from dry to sweet. They have really nice aromas and fruitiness. Get to them before that 95% wine dude or other hipsters starts making them expensive like with Japanese whiskey.
