And Elko is one of the bigger rural counties in Nevada. Some of these counties don’t even make it to 4 digits on their total vote count.
We get that sort of thing here in NV as well. You don’t have to go far to find someone accusing Gavin Newsome of pulling our strings, by making CA so expensive to live in, the Californians are forced out of the burrow to infest our humble pure Nevada with liberalism or something.
I should have weighed myself on Monday. Seriously.
I guess with Nevada I don’t know what the path for Trump is? Is there that much rural vote out there?
Or is it pinning some hope on the remaining Clark ballots to be heavily Republican after a late surge in registration? To me it doesn’t seem like there are enough rural votes to move the needle much at all.
Sounds like what we did. Get some Mad Dog (Mogan David 20/20) and cut it with 7-Up. It’s crappy but it’s sweet mixed that way. Kids don’t have an appreciation for good wine at that point. They just want to get drunk. Mad Dog will do it.

When I lived in Nevada, I had a co-worker who would give me a hard time for coming from California. He’d say, ‘you can stay as long as you don’t make it too liberal here’.
Except, he came from Nebraska, and after me.
And frivolous suit from Chatham County in Georgia (Blue-leaning Savannah) is dismissed.
Count begins again there.
Silver on the 538 liveblog:
“I’m not a decision desk, but I suppose I think Nevada is on the verge of being callable at this point. Two-thirds of the state’s population is in Clark County and Biden is gaining big in Clark County! Not sure I see the route for a Trump comeback.”
Of course, Nevada is only meaningul (for the win at least) when paired with AZ or GA, but still good news.
Georgia at 13,500 vote margin now.
Trump gains +115
Biden gains +712
PA margin down to 115,000

For folks who are interested in NV, there’s an interactive map by county here.
You can see that the rural counties are TINY compared to Clark, when you click on them and see the actual vote count.

Lyon is pretty much the biggest “red” county in NV, where Trump is leading by a lot… it’s near Carson City. It’s got 20k votes recorded so far, with 87% reporting.
Most of the other counties in NV only have like… 1000 votes.
By comparison, Clark county currently has 430k votes, with 73% reporting.
I mean, it seem like it’s over, but I would like for somebody to finally call this…

Nevada doesn’t change anything unless Arizona or Georgia becomes certain so I’m not really following the Nevada result myself.
Every time someone posts something like this, the math part of my brain starts to calculate, while the rest of my brain screams, “WHAT DOES IT MEAN?” at that part.

I drove across Nevada this summer. To say that the stretch of road from Fallon to Ely is empty is to understate things.
I probably, in a literal sense, passed more houses holding more people on my 4 mile run today than I did on that entire drive.
Including Fallon and Ely themselves.
Queued up to express my general feelings.
