Hey, someone want to offer me a little tutorial on how to bring twitter posts over here neatly?

So if a bunch of us showed up in Philly to protest against the Trump protesters who want the counting stopped, would that be considered a counter-Counter protest or a Counter counter-protest?

Sorry, I’ll see myself out.

It’s a beautiful state though. I just love Great Basin NP.

I wouldn’t for a second assume so, no. Mostly I’m just dreading a full-blown investigation if there was evidence at all. Goodness knows I just don’t want to see it dragging out another week.

Matt’s link was exactly the kind of explanation I was looking for, I just hadn’t found it on my own yet. Thanks!

This indicates they’ve given up on NV:

I’m reminded of when our cats are screeching at us for some reason, and my wife and I start the chant:

What do we want?
WE DON’T KNOW
When do we want it?
NOW

The upshot is that if you’re trolling through state voting databases looking for irregularities, you’ll certainly be able to find them in a year when 170 million people have voted. But it’s usually evidence of error, not fraud, and local elections boards generally catch and correct the errors without problem.

Even if it is true, 7 votes won’t make or break the election.

And such was certainly my assumption, but I hadn’t been able to find anything addressing them. The link you shared was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Trump thinks Milton means Milton Berle…

In California, ballots postmarked by Election Day will count if they are received by November 20th, so it’s going to be a long wait until all California votes are counted.

These are some numbers that Dems are pushing in their 175k calculations.

That’s actually Melville, by way of Star Trek II! (Though Khan did reference Milton in Space Seed…)

Winter is the best time to roll out infrastructure week. Wouldn’t want it any other way.

Absolutely. I love this part of the country, the vast stretches of uninhabited “wasteland” is a feature for me. :)

The core of the article seems to assert that seven voters in Michigan were born way too long ago to actually be alive.

But the tone is all snark and no investigation. There are all kinds of explanations, ranging from typographical errors to some individual actually voting fraudulently. It seems to me that a serious article would be interested in investigations as to the truth. Whereas this looks more as if it is written towards people who already assume fraud and then assume anything that looks odd at first glance simply supports that narrative.

Obviously, no fraud of this sort turns these elections, unless repeated a VERY large number of times.

You should read the Atlantic article about the transition. Most Trump people never came to meetings with their Obama counterparts not read the notebooks prepared for them. They came in on Inauguration Day and had no idea what to do. It was a disaster.
