Yep, I was about that age when I was in a campground with my parents. I went to the camp restroom and as I was walking back to our camp, a bunch of kids gathered around me and started yelling racist crap at me.

It still pisses me off that right on this board, we have people that think it’s totally okay to have racist jokes in TV shows:

Exactly this. That’s one of the most disturbing parts of Trumpism for minorities. It used to be that people might think this stuff, but we had gotten to the point where they wouldn’t say it explicitly. Now it’s back in the open.

While you might say, what’s the difference between people thinking it vs. saying it. I can tell you as a minority that has on multiple occasions had random racists get in my face and spout at me (mostly back in the 60s and 70s) it makes a big difference.

I was skeptical too about this, but my understanding is that they know how many Democrat and Republican ballots are still out there and feel comfortable enough (extremely 1000% confident) that the numbers work solidly in Biden’s favor. People are putting their careers on the line with this call. There’s always room for error, but at this point I have to believe.

So i was thinking about the whole ‘dead are voting’ thing. And came to a few conclusions:

  1. The simpsons predicted this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxfqqhT44Nw (season 6, episode 5) but they had the dead voting republican

  2. If i wanted to throw doubt onto voting, i’d have people fill in some ballots as my opposition in key areas. These ballots would most likely be caught and invalidated, but if not, they’d be too few to skew the results. Then, if im losing those areas I could point to them immediately as proof of systemic problems and corruption by my opponent. Since i’d set up all those accounts, i’d know exactly who to look for and i’d send that information as hints to my social media network, knowing i could trust them to dig enough to get lathered into a frenzy. Meanwhile, my hands are clean and it looks like both the system and my opponents are corrupt.

  3. Bonus points because i predicted this whole thing.

I agree that people’s careers are on the line with this call, and that’s why they haven’t backed off it. If the Fox decision desk reverses the call after Murdoch defended them to Trump, they’re doomed. If they don’t reverse the call until it is way obvious that they were wrong, they’re doomed. Their only hope is that the call was correct, so they are white knuckling it with the rest of us, with probably higher personal career stakes.
