Having enjoyed Deschutes beers regularly when I lived in Seattle I was pleasantly surprised to find them available here in TX. So, Deschutes at least might be possible to find.

No need for apologies @triggercut I dont live there since they are all uppity wine freaks

Ha!

Well, in addition to everything else your county does well, they make one of the finest-yet-affordable wines on the planet. :)

GA update from that reliable news guy posted in this thread last night that knows things:

I don’t live in the US, I am sorry to hear about your trauma, but if I find jokes that make fun of stereotypes - all of them - funny, I am not going to apologize for it, regardless of you calling me racist for it. I know I am not one and that’s good enough for me. Cool on you for dragging 3 year old post here from another thread though.

I first encountered them in Chicago, so I know they have wider distribution. Kinda like Lagunitas. A regional brewery, but large enough to have at least cross regional distribution, if not quite national

Hey, that’s my high school buddy, Brendan! I forgot he was stationed in Atlanta. Great dude, and actually has integrity! Was the class comedian. He was the ‘anchor’ on our public access high school news program. I was a cameraman and director. :)

Unfortunately an insane amount of money, isn’t going to translate into a lot of votes It may not be quite as bad as $120/vote that Bloomberg spent in the primaries but I bet it will be close.

It can’t be all over tonight. I didn’t get to stop at the store for a sparkling Moscato Dolce to kick off my celebratory Charcuterie. STOP THE COUNTING!

That’s a neat story. Glad your old friend turned his HS extracurricular into a successful career. I’m sure he’s getting more Twitter attention than he’s used to the last 24 hours or so.

Lauganitas was pretty big, in 32 states before expanding into Chicago, where they basically went national (I think).

Don’t know what this means, but per 538:

So what’s the story with AZ right now? NV is looking better, but AZ is back in play for Trump?

I heard on the TV at noon today that they were allowed to observe but due to social distancing the observer was too far away to actually tell what was going on so they sued to be placed closer. And the judge agreed to that as long as the observer wears a mask.

Thanks!

That’s different than what the MSNBC person said earlier today, but 538 seems to be the accurate one since I’ve seen it elsewhere too. I don’t think it’ll matter too much, though. It’s being livestreamed anyway, I believe.

I don’t think it means much more than “Hey, one of Trump’s lawyers’ suits finally got a judgment in their favor, even if it’s over something super minor.”

Narrator: And the mask was never worn.

That struck me as reasonable, when I came across the fact that the rules were keeping observers 100 feet from the counting. There’s not many mistakes you’re actually going to catch from 100 feet away.
