For the experts in the crowd, is this WaPo story a fair take?

My wife came in after reading the headline, and was freaking out. But it seems like the number(s) that are actually important are:

In several swing states, late ballots will still be counted as long as they were postmarked by Election Day and received by Friday, according to state law. They include Nevada, where 4,518 ballots arrived after Election Day, as well as North Carolina (2,958) and Pennsylvania, (3,439). But in other states — such as Arizona, where 864 ballots were delayed, and Georgia, where 853 were delayed — votes that did not reach election officials by Nov. 3 will be disqualified

This is bad, and possibly meaningful, but is not the same as 150,000 votes that aren’t being counted, all in one place where it has a huge impact.

Am I too late for US pizza talk?

I was in NYC last christmas, and went to two places that were supposed to be good. Joe’s Pizza was pretty boring and bland, very disappointing pizza. Bleecker Street Pizza was amazing, some of the best pizza I have ever had and if that fits within the category of “NY pizza” then sign me up on that team.

How about Black Lives Matter?

Not every place in NYC has amazing pizza, just like not every place in Philly has amazing cheesesteaks. You just gotta know where to go.

Unless you’re in Times Square pretty much every place in NYC has amazing pizza.

Of course there are different levels. But even bad NY pizza is amazing.

I think it’d be pretty surprising if Al Gross won.

Certainly not impossible or inconceivable, given we had a Democrat senator from 2009-15, but it would be surprising this year since Trumpism is fairly high here and Gross’ campaign was very lame on messaging IMO.

I mean, I don’t know anything about whether there’s actually quality polling in AK, so have no idea whether he has a chance (I suspect not) but Dr. Gross certainly has a catchy ditty.

Everything feeds a conspiracy. That’s what makes it a conspiracy.

Trump’s lead in Pennsylvania is down to roughly 53,000, with at least 250,000 mail ballots left to count in the state.

BTW, we know that about 37,000 of those outstanding votes are in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh). There are at least another 65-75,000 in Philly and surrounding counties.

Plus Lehigh County.

It’s over.

Down to 50,680 in PA now.

Everybody needs money. That’s why they call it “money”.

Jeezus, if*/when that damn lead evaporates, it’s going to be fireworks all over the west coast.

*can’t jinx it.

We have left the rounding to the thousands phase and are now rounding to the tens. We can taste it!

Hmm. . .

But we’re not tasting it until tomorrow, is that correct? (*If we get to taste it!)

*can’t jinx it

God I hope not, what with all the fires.

No matter what Maricopa reports here shortly – and there are some Trumpists who believe it’ll be a big report for their guy – Pennsylvania says “No.”

Had a crazy sale on brisket here, 1.99 a pound. I’m known for my smoked jerky and ribs, just have to translate.
