As perspective, Biden currently leads Trump in the popular vote by 4 million votes. This is more than the total (not voting) population of the five smallest population states (Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota) combined.
And yet, because of the Electoral College, the election is currently “close.”

So how will the Georgia runoffs work? Does everyone have to go out and vote all over again, and does everyone in Georgia vote for both senate seats or is there a difference in some way?
Dems will need to move hell and high water to get every one of their voters to vote in the runoff.

I think it will be cool if Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy, is the city that ends Trump’s presidency.
There’s two discrete senate seats.
Ossoff and Perdue for one, Warnock and Loeffler for the other.
There are only two people on the ballot for each of those seats, so one candidate will get 50%+ to satisfy Georgia’s constitution.
