They’re a media organization that provides election results and analysis to news sites. Vox and Business Insider use their projections. Probably other news sites as well.
‘Calls’ by the major news services are a convention. They don’t mean anything in terms of actually counting votes. They’re usually a signal to the public and the candidates that the outcome is no longer in doubt. Each media organization exercises its own judgment about when to call an election. Thus far, only DDHQ has, but others will surely follow in the next few hours, or tomorrow.
I tried that yesterday and you refused to cross the isle to the Chicago side to shake our hands.
Well, no one wants to trigger the terrorists losers, but it was over a while ago. When is a social construct.
The BBC is still hedging on Arizona, whereas other outlets have called it for Biden and they have not awarded Pennsylvania or Georgia to Biden, even though he has overtaken Trump in each and outstanding ballots are (very) like to go in his favour.
Trigger can get the DDHQ stuff, because I’m just an embedded foreigner.
I personally do not mind pineapple on pizza but I feel these extremist views are going to make it harder for us conservatives to reach across the New York to Chicago pizza style aisle. So cut out the pineapple talk you yahoos.

God bless . . . well, part of America!
All buckling may now be down.
This is true, but Arizona, Nevada and Georgia are irrelevant to the call at this point. If Biden has won the ‘certain’ blue states, plus Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, then he’s won the election even if he loses in those other states. And PA is basically certain at this point, so you will see the other media outlets calling it even while AZ and GA are still in doubt.
Oh gosh, hypocrisy from Trump? Why, I never…

Best pizza ever, served at Eldsmiðjan in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Minus the olives because olives are gross.

True fact: pineapple pizza is a sneaky foreign plot. It was invented by a Canadian.
Vote for my pineapple, ham and black olive pizza link.

BTW, watch the Maricopa count that will come out around 11am ET carefully.
It’s going to be about 75,000 ballots. These are ballots that were mailed out…but returned not by mail, but either by drop-off or at polling places on election day.
Maricopa has about 100,000 more of these ballots after they release the result of these 75,000. But the tilt of these ballots will tell a lot about whether to call the state or not. (It’s expected that they’ll lean Trump; we just don’t know by how much.)
And Canadians have round bacon. Can’t trust 'em…
Oh, and when Nevada does their update soon this morning, they’ll call the state unless the results from Clark County look crazy.
Olives built Western civilization.
It would be good to nail down Nevada for the insurance EC votes. Of course the same is true for AZ and GA, but NV seems more certain at this point.
If Trump has to overturn the result in multiple states through court action, that’s a really really tall order. Florida 2000 was unique in that respect, where the election came down to one state with an incredibly small margin, and the apparent victor just had to work the courts to retain that victory. This court battle will not be like that.
