I just tuned into Fox news, and it’s interesting to listen to the commentator (not sure who it is, Eric someone?) rebuke all of the Trump campaign’s bullshit about the election being unfair/stolen/etc. What the hell is going on?
Oh wait Newt G is on, talking about 1400 dead people voting in one of the elections. Nevermind, I guess FOX is still just fine with this bullshit. “PA reported a dumb of 23,000 ballots, with 0 for Trump. You don’t even see that in Zimbabwae!”
Brett Bair is pushing back a bit on Newt and saying there’s no evidence for the claims, but it’s destructive enough to give Newt the coverage. FOX internally must be a fucking mess right now.

BTW, Philly is done counting it looks like, until 5pm tonight, which is when those provisional ballots become legal.
Same for Pittsburgh and their 35,000 ballots.
Brett Baier is doing a fantastic job on Fox News right now holding his ground against Newt Gingrich making wild claims without evidence. The woman sitting next to him, who I do not recognize, is doing the exact opposite.

I think they are handling this right and I assume it was weeks of planning ahead of time to figure out the right way to cover this. They know their viewership and if they go too hard on just calling bs their viewers will just tune out. They are threading the needle where they let the Trump-people on and spew their stuff and then they calmly ask questions pointing out how it’s either BS or won’t actually matter. I’ve been impressed.
When are they going to report?
After they count those ballots. :)

He pushed Ronna McDaniel pretty hard earlier on how any “evidence” she has about fraud in Michigan could possibly be anywhere near the margin in Michigan right now. Later on he referred back to that conversation and made a comment about how any evidence should be investigated but it appears she’s still trying to find any evidence to back up her claims.

Newt wants to throw out all of the Philadelphia votes because they were ‘trying to hide something early in the process’. Rather than just re-checking the votes and verifying that everything is above board. Just throw them all out because they were ‘acting suspicious’. It’s an absolute joke that these people are making these accusations in the name of wanting to have a fair election.
