I don’t thing there is any need even to recheck them. There were always representatives of both campaigns in the canvassing room. The dispute was on how far way they had to stand for social distancing.

I’m just saying it’s quite a nonsense leap for him to claim that there were problems with the process and then saying that the correct course of action is to just assume fraud and throw out many thousands of votes. Let’s say the Senate ends up 49-51 in Republican control. Is there such thing as a scenario where Biden puts into his Cabinet a vulnerable Republican senator from a state with a Democratic governor who could appoint a replacement, thus bringing it to 50-50?
