Fair Fight registered 800,000 new voters in georgia. Just look at the current tally to see what that kind of increase can do. We may not win the senate seats, but once you see that your vote does matter, you tend to show up more.

I do too. Out of the entire damn party he’s apparently the only one remaining that has principles. Now, he doesn’t have a lot of the same principles that I have but he at least has them instead of just paying lip service to them.

Soon to have a four year vertical stacked up in the back of the pantry.
Good point - the randomness would have had to account for the typical reporting times of each county, which would include the times polls close of course. But yeah, cities typically report later and some very remote areas also. I just meant, if the reported totals from each county had randomly mixed mail-in, in-person EV, and day-of votes (with provisionals only after all non-provisional were counted).

Pretty sure the way it works is that there needs to be actual evidence of crimes before you arrest someone. I hate Trump, too, but talking about arresting him for treason isn’t helping.
If he’s charged with any crime, I’m almost certain it’ll be financial in nature. Treason is a very, very high bar.
Sadly, yes, but for one day let’s hope.
The lesson from this election is the one that’s always been obvious but that never seems to sink in: Every vote counts. We can’t wait for a perfect storm of horror to motivate people. So long as gerrymandering and the electoral college and voter suppression tactics remain in play to tilt the field for Republicans, everyone on the left needs to remain as passionate about voting as they were in this election and it needs to be done as a coalition, setting aside squabbles between the progressive and center left wings until such time as the Republicans are no longer the greater threat.

So you’re saying we could stop the count…
How are there no laws against a President violating the Emoluments clause? If there are such then he could most definitely be arrested for that.

There are laws, but you have to prove that you were harmed in order to have standing to sue. A Washington D.C. hotel sued and lost.
There’s one single process, enshrined in the constitution, for disciplining a naughty president. Impeachment. Sitting presidents are immune to all lesser federal prosecution.
Say what you will about the tenets of Republicanism, Dude, at least it’s an ethos.

What about 18 U.S.C § 2101?

Looks like that one lawsuit is still going, but is moot now.

Isnt using the white house as your campaign office illegal? Trump is doing that today and not being stopped why would any of the other nonsense he’s done in office actually come back to bite him.

I don’t think it’s illegal, per se. It is definitely unseemly.
The President is immune from Hatch Act violations, but even then, those violations are not criminal and there’s plenty of speculation that the Hatch Act is unconstitutional since it limits speech.

It’s just another example of Trump violating well-established norms. I hope it’s clear to lawmakers that the most important of these need to be backed up with legislation now, but that won’t happen with a Republican Senate.
But in general I think it’s hard for Congress to pass laws that apply to the Executive Branch and especially the President. As we’ve seen, there’s no real enforcement mechanism anyway, and as long as the DOJ believes that the sitting President can’t be indicted, there’s really no point.
