I haven’t looked at this thread in hours and this still isn’t called? Dammit.
That would be so fucked up. The country is over if that happens.

Pinal is overall at 56.6-41.8 favoring Trump.
The lead is currently 39,769 for Biden
There is currently an estimated 214,667 votes left
(all according to the NBC tracker, the first with the outstanding votes I found)
Which means that Trump needs 59.263% of the remaining votes.
Given the current overall total is at 49.9-48.6 that means Trump needs to run ahead of his state averages in any given county. Trump did get above his Pinal vote total, but only by about 2%. This will not be enough, especially as it is still slightly below the threshold needed.
EDIT: I see you posted a dashboard with a slightly different total. Still numbers are close. Pinal has the largest amount of votes left, but based on sizes there is more votes in Maricopa and Pima too.
I can’t believe there is any way Roberts and Gorsuch would go along with a blatant election stealing attempt. Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh sure. Maybe even Barrett. But they would need five.
Bipartisanship at its best!

I generally agree with you, but it is a big unknown. For sure we’re going to find out, though. Trump will not stop until the Supreme Court says he has to.

I think the conservative SCOTUS members, including Kavanaugh and ACB, know that they are better off with Trump out of the picture. It would be very poor strategic decision making for them to instate him when he’s clearly lost a fair election.
He won’t even stop then. But if he doesn’t get a ruling throwing out all the votes in multiple states, he can’t prevail that way. If he can’t get an order stopping the process, it continues unabated while he plays ping-pong with the court. And when he runs out the clock, unlike Bush he loses, since he is the one who is behind. I’m guessing he doesn’t grasp that subtle difference.
The Trump presidency is going to end one of three ways:
- He rage quits while pretending he was blameless for the loss.
- He refuses to leave hoping the Supreme Court bails him out.
- He dies in the next two months.
Right now I’m going with 2 because Trump lived his entire life with somebody bailing him out every time he fucked up. He isn’t going to expect differently now.

He will not quit. He’s not pretending, he actually, 100% believes that he won the election and that there is rampant cheating. The fact that there is no evidence of cheating is all the evidence he needs.
He’s a fucking crazy person and a moron. He will be dragged out of the White House.

I see this one as unlikely if only because I think he’s terrified of leaving office.
Because of course if they were cheating, they would totally hide the evidence. QED.

And in this version of the world, he is escorted out of the Oval Office rather brusquely by secret service.
Admit it, oyu would cheer to see him dragged out in cuffs.

If the events in Philly have taught us anything, the best way to fight one orange menace, is with another orange menace.
Gritty for AG!

Is he going to complain that the corporations didn’t get to cast any votes?
In any event, I think the networks are making a mistake by not calling it. I don’t think they believe the outcome is in doubt; I think they’re a bit paralyzed by the desire not to be seen as biased. But each passing hour and day communicates to the public that something is not quite right here, and he will totally use that to his advantage.

What remaining votes are expected to still drop today?
