The fact that NV hasn’t been called is the one that seems especially absurd for me, especially for those other than Fox/AP. It doesn’t call the election, but it seems clear to me that Biden’s winning that state. Oh noes, there’s outstanding ballots in Biden’s best-performing county!

There are, at most, 8,410 oversea/military ballots. Trump would have to carry those by a serious ratio to cut into the lead, and that assumes all were returned in time. I think most of these are actually overseas rather than strictly military as well.

What sustains me is this all feels exactly like 2016, but in party reverse. The guy with the lead just keeps hanging on to the lead, like every logical thing tells us. Meanwhile the electorate pulls its hair out trying to find wormy paths to a different outcome. Pessimism sucks, but it’s also not a choice, that shit is brain-wired.
