I think this is normally how it happens. We’ve just never experienced it with the current internet reporting tech, so it feels terrible. 2000 was bad, but you got the updates 1x per day, at around 6:30PM, not breathlessly for 24hrs a day so we can all stress-out.

House lead shrunk this year, Dem’s need to figure out how to expand the map again. Unfortunately, the red states are going to get gerrymandered even worse, so I feel like we only have 2 years of house control left till demographics shift again later in the decade.

So according to NYT, the top 3 PA counties by missing vote percentage are Armstrong (tiny Trump county), Allegheny (Pittsburgh) and Philadelphia. Armstrong is like 500 votes max based on their total counts. Apparently still too close! This is like waiting for California to finish voting before you announce the Democrat won.
I have nothing bad to say about Philly. Never lived there, but spent some weeks over several summers there in the early '90s, fun place. But it looks like a great place to have been all day today.
