That one is great but even better with the caption:

Man I guess I’m old because for me a lid used to mean something totally different.

Careful Kay-lee, you already have enough tweets you’re going to be deleting to whitewash your miserable ‘career’.

Fortunately most these individuals celebrating in the street are wearing masks.

lids ran about 10 bucks when I was young.

Pretty sure they were all eaten by bears.

Ok, that deserves a like.

To be fair, what that mainly means is Trump’s supporters don’t mostly live in the D.C. area.

But a fun contrast nonetheless.

Biden just picked up about 800 votes in Arizona after some stuff came in. Doesn’t seem like much, but it does impact Trump’s margin for the state

Trouble is she’s totally right, for once. Yes, the masks make it more responsible than a gathering of Trump supporters, and yes I’m certainly empathetic to the impulse to celebrate, but it’s a damn stupid thing to be doing in the middle of a rising pandemic and sends an absolutely terrible message on that front. Every time I see one of these crowds I have a seriously schizophrenic reaction, joy at what they’re celebrating but absolute horror at all those people crammed together.

I remember how I felt in 2016. I would sometimes forget what happened and suddenly remember, and my heart would sink. It’s happening now. I remember and smile.

Um, what? Joe Biden didn’t organize those celebrations. Trump’s rallies happened because Trump wanted them.

Please don’t enable false equivalences.

I would buy this except for the fact that the Four Seasons Landscaping is in northeast Philadelphia, which is the most conservative part of the city (the only Republican district city council member represents this area) and is probably the only place where they might get a turnout of supporters.

Dude there weren’t really any spikes after the big protests in June and there likely won’t be any here. Relax.

Finally I wake up to some good news! Congratulations America, welcome back.

How appropriate that Trump finally lost while he was golfing.

Now to go back to 600 posts ago and savor it in “real time”. :)

Hugs all round.
