Trump must be pissed, that is $2 million he could have grifted instead.

The perverse crypto version of “Bad money drives out good”.

This one is funny.

Never stop grifting

Mansplaining crypto and abortion in one tweet is just too on the nose. I’m calling fake account.

Crypto just needs to be banned. This is only going to get worse.

I’m not a pro-banning person, but the case for banning crypto is getting awful strong.

Just got this email from my sister.

Just got off phone from Jim and Pat In Azores. Jim says u should learn about
“non fungible tokens”. He knows nothing… but knows enough to know that we should try to
Understand this.

Now mind you Jim, and his wife are a wonderful couple in their 80s. They spent 50 years sailing around the world in various small sailboats, and made a living by writing about their sailing. In YouTube world they may have made a decent living as YouTuber, but not back then.

My response was.

Please tell Jim, that the most important thing to understand about NFTs, is that they are a scam designed to move money from the uninformed to the con artists who push them.

Seriously., important.

A lot of these people would be losing their money thru some other bad investment if Bitcoin and NFTs didn’t exist.

I’m so glad that you gave your sister that message and just maybe stopped that old couple from digging that hole (diggint that deeper). I only hope that they will listen. Some of the people I speak to have invested so much that they just can’t accept that possibility.

Back it up with the NFT focused list from W3IGG, drawing attention not only to the number of hacks and grifts, but the recent articles demonstrating that NFT’s have been a shit investment with drastically declining pricing and trading volume.

When I read about these giant losses, I keep trying to think of a tax/moneylaundering angle to them. I hugely suspect that people are playing some big money games on these huge value drops.

Maybe if it was mid-December but you don’t start your tax write-offs in June.

Yup. Allow me to quote valid use cases for crypto; Scams, Speculation, Subterfuge. It’s rated SSS!

Yeah, unfortunately Bitcoin and NFT isn’t unique in that aspect.

Scamming the elderly is an industry with deep roots.

Important to educate your loved ones about this new scam.

Dang, when you’re in your 80s you need to sit on your money. Just put it in something really safe instead of highly speculative.

This is the right response. Well done!

This is my shocked face

But where did all that money go?
